    Do not buy. Poor seat cushion design easily breaks.

    Do not buy. The seat cushion easily breaks as it has a thin cardboard backing. This occurred on two of my units.

    Flimsy piece broke within a day

    I was so excited when we received this product. We built it and it lasted all about one day until one of the bottom wood pieces broke. They are flimsy and wobble. They look nice but don’t last. I wish I would have known this and bought something more durable. Now we seat on them but never use the bottom wood which one should be able to do. I am also not that heavy. Normal size person who should have been able to use these.

    We purchased 3 of these and what a pain they were to assemble!! Each one started out wobbly until we tweaked it. You get what you pay for... it’s just not quality finish work (blemishes in the stain, spots where the nailhead is uneven). That said- overall they do look nice (if you aren’t examining them up close) and they are comfortable so we are keeping them. I do think they will be pretty durable.

    Good purchase, but check all the pieces carefully. See review.

    Ordered 4 black stools, and one had a broken “rung” and the seat had a weird blemish that looked sort of bleached out. Target did ship out a replacement very quickly. For the money, these are very good, and fairly simple to assemble. Once assembled and tightened, they are very sturdy and comfortable. They look much more expensive than $54.
