A great buy

What a great bedding set! I bought the green color which is soft and beautiful. The fabric is substantial, the weight is not too heavy, and it washes up well. It's called velvet but feels and looks more like a soft luxurious lightweight suede. Beautiful! The best part is that both the comforter and pillow shams are big enough to actually cover our deep mattress and pillows.

Not durable or well made.

I absolutely love this comforter. That being said I have probably washed it maybe a total of 4 or 5 times total in the time that Ive had it. The seams are literally coming apart and the stuffing is coming out. Obviously not very durable and very disappointing!

Please Read!

This might be a lengthy review but I figured I would add some insight because the other reviews can be confusing. For starters, I love this comforter. I actually had the duvet version of this exact style & I absolutely loved it, other than having wrestle a duvet/duvet insert every week to wash it. I loved it so much I wanted to buy the comforter version & I’m happy I did. I have a king sized bed & this covers it perfectly. I washed this twice already and have had no issues with tearing, etc. I do have a top load, higher capacity washer with NO agitator. That might be your issue if this comforter ends up tearing. If you do have an agitator I recommend getting the duvet version of this comforter. I used to have a washer with an agitator and my duvet version of this didn’t have any issues. With the comforter version, I did have to dry it 6 times but that’s expected when you have king sized bedding. In the summer I will likely just hang it on the clothesline instead. I will say I’m taking off a star because the comforter version does feel slightly cheaper than the duvet version. I also bought my duvet version 2 years ago so you know how literally anything just gets made cheaper & cheaper as the years go on. What I love most about this style is that the top is a soft cotton velvet that adds some feeling of texture and luxury. While the bottom is a flat cotton that doesn’t make you too hot. My husband thankfully even thinks it’s as comfortable as the duvet version so that’s a relief! It does weigh slightly less than when you have the duvet version so that’s another factor to consider when researching!
