    Full of flavor

    This roast beef is juicy and rich with flavor. Also, personally, i think thin sliced lunch meat is better than any others and I love how thin its sliced. Makes it great for sandwiches or even to snack on.

    Too salty

    There were only two roast beef options at my Target, and one had nitrates, so I picked this one. It's really salty and I won't buy it again. They are nice thin slices, though.

    I bought this and the use by date is November 3, 2025. I knew when I opened the package. There is no reason this should have still been in the refrigerator. I cannot take it back tonight and I have to dinner. I want the item taken off my charges but I doubt that will happen since I can't get back tonight.

    Full of fat and gristle.

    I tried to pick out the gristle but there was so much, I threw it out. The photo shows the gristle. It is so hard, no way to even tear it easily.

    Ultra Thin Roast Beef

    I just get the worst pak of roast beef ever. It had white spots all over it. I could hardly bite into it. Unless I know this is a rare problem I'll never buy it again.

    Hard Portions of Gristle

    The flavor of this meat is far inferior to all the other Hillshire Farms deli meats, but worst part is the gristle. I was surprised three time when I bit into very hard, not even tough, portions of meat. I thought I accidentally dropped something into my sandwich, but after spitting out the meat I saw brown meat surrounding something that looked like a broken translucent guitar pick. I’m very thankful I didn’t feed this to my boys. I threw away the remainder of the roast beef. I’ll stick with HF’s other meats.

    Ultra thin roast beef

    This roast beef was terrible. It had so much fat and grissle in it we couldn’t eat it. The two containers I bought were thrown in the garbage and it was pricier than other meats I buy. Very disappointed. I would prefer to give no stars

    Gristle

    The roast beef I purchased was so full of gristle that I could not bite into it! I would pull the meat off the bread when I took a bite. It was the worst quality I have ever experienced from hillshire. Needless to say I will not be buying any more of the roast beef and I would recommend everyone else do the same.

    Bit into bones while eating my sandwich

    I made a sandwich using this roast beef. Within the first two bites I bit into a thinly sliced bone and cut the roof of my mouth. I removed it and thought it was a one off situation. Thought nothing of it. A few days later, I found three more while making a sandwich with the same roast beef. Ended up scraping the sandwich idea and had a deconstructed roast beef sandwich. I have never had issues with their other products.

    Bland Taste Poor Texture

    Very disappointing quality. I don't eat roast beef often but this is probably the worst quality one I've had. The thin slices came out slimy feeling from the added salt water and isn't have much flavor. The thin slicing robbed them of most texture too. I'll buy ham next time and this never again. Sad I bought a family pack.

    What is this?

    Purchaed roast beef for Christmas Eve finger sandwiches and had to cut all of this out before making the sandwiches. Lost quite a bit of the 7 oz package.
