Boost
New bottle and cap are bad. Makes the boost taste nasty and watered down instead of rich chocolate flavor. The red wrapper and other bottle were better.

Why did they change the formula?
I have been surviving off of Boost chocolate for years now. It’s the only one I can tolerate. I actually loved the flavor. As of Oct 2025 they changed the flavor and the packaging and it tastes horrible. Even upsets my stomach now. I truly needed this for my health. Im terribly upset. I don’t know what I will do.

Rich chocolate flavor fills you up. Could be even better if canola oil was replaced with coconut oil and carrageenan removed, as it can be a gut irritant.

Some issues with 2 flavors.
I bought 2 cases each of the original boost flavors chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. The chocolate seems fine. The vanilla and (especially) the strawberry have dents in many of the bottles. Looks like imploding. It also looks like there is less in these bottles due to the indentation taking up some of the space where the fluid should be. Not happy with these. They taste okay, but feel like I'm getting gypped due to less in them.

YES, only if Review Title was available, and I have been drinking this for 12 years every day and all of sudden it is not tasting the same and the opening plastic needs a cutter to remove. I don't see the green label on these offered.

Compared to "meh" Ensure, the Boost vanilla and chocolate drinks are delicious. A cold bottle of chocolate after a hard bicycle ride is a dream. Only issue is that I want to have one too often! I love the products. I made a mistake when shopping in my Target and got a case of vanilla when I meant to get chocolate. I was annoyed with myself until I tasted it!

Used to be good but stevia tastes awful
Boost used to be my go-to when I needed a meal replacement shake. It got me through some really tough times when I was very sick and I have continued to keep it on hand for when I need a meal replacement shake for whatever reason. I couldn't figure out why lately it tasted so bad until I double checked the label and went online. They have now started adding stevia, which to me tastes terrible and makes my stomach upset. I wish they had put a warning that they had changed the ingredients because now I have 11 bottles of something I cannot consume without becoming ill.

I much prefer Premier Protein. The packaging is fine…easy to hold. Value is comparable to other protein products on the market.

Too much sugar!
One serving has 20 grams of sugar! One serving is only 8oz which equals one cup. That's 5 teaspoons of sugar in only one cup! There are far better alternatives available without that much sugar.
