Smooth and moisturizing

Light Pink shine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love lip oils so I am super stoked to review a brand that is new to me. I am reviewing the Beyond a Pout Oil Primer in Pink Slip. This is a very lightly-tinted pink “gloil” (A cross between a lip gloss and a lip oil!). I’d say it’s more sticky/tacky than a true lip oil - which helps with staying power - but this isn’t going to satisfy anyone looking for a Vaseline-type glide. I did not find it to be a good primer as it’s literally like trying to apply lipstick over lip gloss. It just doesn’t work. But wearing it alone for some shine is perfection and I love that it smells good but is flavorless. Also hooray for cruelty-free!

Excellent Lip Primer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing lip oil. It really does prime the lips exceptionally well. My lips are super soft after only a few mins of wear and it has high shine to it. The applicator is flat and spreads the product evenly. The scent, let me repeat myself, the SCENT!?? is so deliciously fruity it reminds me of the roll on lips oils from the early 2000’s.

While it does seem to help with lipstick application, I think I prefer this primer as a gloss on its own. I just love the soft shine and the way my lips look so hydrated with this on!

Normal lip oil

Wasn’t a huge fan of the scent, it smelled kinda artificial. The shine was really nice and also like that’s it’s easy to throw in your bag on the go.
