Description

This coffee from the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea is bold and satisfying. Papua New Guinea coffee is a smooth and notably sweet coffee with a medium body and acidity level. The initial taste reflects dark berry flavors and ends with a dark chocolate, but remarkably clean finish.Although Papua New Guinea coffee is an Indo-Pacific coffee, it separates itself from the others in nearly every way. The most distinct difference is that the coffee from Papua New Guinea is wet processed and not wet hulled like other coffees from similar regional varieties. The difference in processing creates a cup with a very different flavor and body, a developed sweetness is prominent and earthy, vegetal flavors from these beans are rare and are usually due to poor processing or drying.

    Love PNG coffee

    Roasted to Perfection! Strong Aroma, Sweet!

    I have been buying Papua New Guinea roasted whole bean, 5lb. bag from Fresh Roasted coffee for 3 years and it is always roasted to perfection. All the beans are the same light medium color whereas. . . when I had to buy from another vendor because Fresh Roasted Coffee was out of stock, the other vendors roast was darker and had signs of oil. . . . & it didn't have the sweet flavor and the strong wonderful aroma that Fresh Roasted Coffee's had. I learned my lesson as the next time Fresh Roasted Coffee is out of stock, I will wait until they have it back in stock! The only thing I wish is that. . . they keep it in stock at all times so I don't have to ever suffer again! :)

    Great roast - as good as my own

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I roasted my own Papua New Guinea beans for many years and I have to say, this roast is pretty close to what I used to produce myself. It is one of my top three favorite beans/roasts. Ordering from the company is super easy and delivery was FAST.

    This is our absolute favorite coffee from Fresh Roasted. It has the right amount of natural flavors including the chocolate. When FR was out of stock we tried others and still Papua New Guinea comes out on top. It is smooth and tasty for those who like a medium blend.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently developed a health condition that made drinking my favorite coffee from Fresh Roasted Coffee no longer doable. I thought I was going to have to give up coffee which seemed kind of impossible to me. Then my doctor said I could have low acid coffee, so I tried all of their organic low acid varieties. I didn't really care for the other ones, but this one is really good. And it has been such a blessing every morning to enjoy a huge mug. :grin: It's like 16 oz, LOL. Awesome!
