A: Great Question. This is completely normal. The loose powder that you see in the cup is necessary to prevent the product from boiling over the top of the cup in your microwave. The white powder is a starch-based ingredient and is safe to consume. We hope this helps!

The taste is the same old wonderful Kraft mac & cheese and I like that it's a quick make, but these are made so cheaply and horribly. Every single one in the pack has somehow leaked out the bottom, causing a goopy, hard to clean mess in my microwave and an improperly made mac & cheese. I won't be buying these anymore despite loving the convenience and taste since they're so obnoxiously messy and make more work since I have to pretty much deep clean my micros afterwards.
