I cannot quite tell if this has been reformulated or if I received multiples from the same bad batch. It smells like mold and has caused bad reactions. I have used this product for years. It quite literally fixed my skin some time ago. I used this daily until I opened my most recent one. It stinks! And then I remembered when I was on vacation a month prior, my brand new sample smelled exactly like this. I tossed it thinking it was a fluke. I am so shocked and disappointed. This product is so expensive. I would have paid every penny forever before this. Ulta refuses to replace or reimburse since I am (and I am) beyond the return window, but these reformulations should be disclosed in the descriptions or renamed.

This product smells horrible...at least the one I got does. I instantly washed it off and threw it away.

I don't have one negative thing to say about this product. It is absolutely amazing and is my favorite skin product that I have ever used. I put it on after washing my face at night. The next day you can feel the product still working. My face and neck feel so smooth but not greasy or oily. Just smooth as butter. I can not live without this. Buy it, try it, love it. Your skin can thank me later.

Didnt really see a difference. It actually itches a little bit right after applying but wears off. Also it didnt soak in at all, just leaves your face feeling super greasy. I could only use it as nighttime moisturizer because I couldn't imagine using it during the day.

Have used it long enough to know how well it will work on my wrinkles.

I have used this product off and on for a couple of years now. This last time I bought it I instantly knew there was something different. I used this last night and my skin became itchy. Washed my face and tried again. Woke up this morning with two swollen eyes! After two hrs they're still puffy, itchy and red. My jawline is also itchy and red. Not sure what they added to this formula but I wont be buying this again.

This did not work for my (dry) skin at all — would not soak in, just sits feeling sticky. I also did not like the smell.

This has been my holy grail product for years. People think I am 25 but am actually 39 and i think this cream has been a big help. But since they have reformulated the product it is not the same, it's much thinner than it used to be, causes major irritation around my mouth and eyes and overall doesn't give me the same results. I'm so disappointed but also want people to be aware that older raving reviews may be misleading now.

I'm 53 years old and have extremely dry skin, large pores, sensitive skin, acne and sun spots. Yes, I'm a mess. My skin is so dry that, even with moisturizer on, I can't use any kind of face powder over my foundation because it will dry my skin out and cause it to peel. On top of that my pores are large and i have acne. I had been looking for a moisturizer like this for the last several years because my skin condition had worsened. I love this stuff! I had tried so many different creams, lotions, serums and moisturizers. I had to spend time layering products on my face and still didnt get the kind of results the Peter Thomas Roth Ultimate Solution 5 lotion gives me. And its so concentrated that I don't have to use much of it so, while it's a tad pricey, it's so worth it. I purchased the travel size two weeks ago and it will last me another month-possibly more.

At first I didn’t like this formula. It left my skin feeling grainy and I see that others had the same experience and returned it. I had a thought, why not stir it up for 10 seconds and try it again. That worked! It feels nice and smooth now. I gave it 4 stars because I don’t like is the way it smells.

This is a miracle in a jar. I’ve been using it for about 2 years and my 73 year old skin looks amazing.

Really great cream and great consistency. My face soaks it all up. create elasticity and it makes you look younger

This product is very soft but it smells like chemicals. The smell lingers for a bit after applying. For the price and brand I was expecting better quality.

I am 61. I have very dry skin, especially in the winter. I have tried just about every product out there from oils to serums and various creams both high end (Clarins, Chanel…) and drug store brands and this is by far the best product I have ever used.

Use the PTR wash in shower on décolletage and neck with a facial teardrop shaped pouf, dry VERY well then apply this to neck and décolletage all your sun damage will be gone in 2 weeks. I've been using it consistently after every shower. I'm a shower every other day person and it's really really kept my chest beautiful, freckle free. I'm now on my 2nd XL jar and I'm splurging now to use more for my shoulders, for that sun damage too. I think this is too much for my particular face because I already use Dennis Gross acid products that and this would be way too many acids. I do think this lotion could take the place of all other acid products though. It's phenomenal. I'm buying two small sizes as gifts for Christmas! My 40's gals must have this.

This product pills constantly under make up and alone. I would return this if it wasn't past the return date

This moisturizer is very thick, pills on face, not worth the $$$

I really like this product. It leaves my skin looking younger and smoother. I've seen a few reviews stating that this pills underneath make-up. That's not pilling, that's your skin exfoliating. I put this on 2 hours ago and i can now literally rub my old, dead skin off - which leaves me looking amazing, the next day. The way to fix this? I only use it once a day, at night. Viola…. I will be purchasing this again.

Got this during the BOGO mini sale. Very thick and heavy, which is what I wanted to try as a nighttime moisturiser, but it's so thick and doesn't spread well and just kind of ended up sitting on top of my skin without actually moisturising it.

I didn't like this cream.
