Busted LCD
After 2 years of moderate use, my oven's LCD screen is non responsive. It'll turn on and change between settings but I cannot change temp, cook time, or start it up. The people at ninja I emailed with were quick to respond and pleasant but the unit is out of warranty. They offered a 30% discount on a new one but I'm not sure the cost for 2 years of use is worth it. I enjoyed it while it lasted.

Dead in a year. Buttons stopped working.
One of my favorite products ever. Until the poorly designed membrane buttons stopped working. Why use those???? the dials and physical push buttons still work fine. Outside of warranty window and heartbroken that I wasted so much money on this thing and it's dead in a year.

Should say Ninja woodfire junk
I purchased 2 of these and the they failed one in less than a year and the other less than 2 years. Can't buy parts so they are junk. Ninja is replacing the one less than a year but the other they won't help at all. I looked on line and a whole list of people have the same exact problem.

Outdoor Oven Not Built for the Outdoors
NOT WATERPROOF. This item is advertised as an outdoor appliance but is not designed to withstand the elements. There are multiple points where water intrusion is possible which will cause the internal electronic boards to corrode. This is likely why so many reviews state the oven quit working after a short time. Mine lasted a year (in CA where we rarely get rain) and the board failed. The photo shows the internal corrosion. Very disappointing that such an expensive item is rendered obsolete through no fault of the customers.

It’s frozen in time not even a year old.
I’ve had this not even a year and now I can’t even start it. It doesn’t work. You can push any button. It’s frozen right there. I’ve tried unplugging and re-plugging and not very happy.

Control board issues
Product does not work after 2 uses. Unfortunately, it sat in the box for a year after purchase and used it for the first time during Christmas. Don't buy this junk. If you research online, you will see lots of people having issues with the control panel. I wish this ninja product lasted more than 2 uses. Paid a lot of money to buy accessories as well. I understand its ninja policy, but still would have expected the product to run more than twice.

Prepared great meals, but oven is defective
I bought this two years ago and the oven and included items feel high quality. I only used it once or twice until recently. In the last six months probably used it 6 times. I prepared some great meals in it for Thanksgiving and Christmas. However, I can no longer adjust the cook time and cook temperature. It will not move off of whatever the last setting was. Contacted Ninja support and was told it is not under warranty so see you later. Not asking for a free replacement just if there is a part I can replace or a reset that I am not seeing. Fortunately, I did buy the extended warranty so I will probably try the oven again, because it really was amazing when it worked. Hopefully this one was just a lemon.

Great when it works
This will be the third one that I have used. The first one the seal around the door was not done correctly so all the smoke came out around all parts of the door. The second one the buttons on the front stopped working. Both times ninja has gone above and beyond with replacing and getting them back to me but moving forward I will only use this for pizza, bread, and baking to try to prevent any problem with the buttons on the front.

No longer works
Oven only worked for three years, now when I try to start it nothing happens, once in a great while it will start. This has been going on for over a year. Very frustrating and very disappointed with the oven.

Worth Every Penny - Incredible addition
I received my Ninja 8-1 wood fired outdoor oven as a Mother’s Day gift and have been loving it ever since. Everyone who I have had over for supper is super impressed and says the pizzas are a fabulous as their favorite restaurant and even better. In fact several people have gone home asked for the link and ordered one for themselves, including friends we had over last night. I love that I can smoke ribs in it as well. Next is a brisket. This is a definite must have. Even if I only ordered it for pizzas it’s worth every penny
