Completely nonfunctional
The lamp cannot stand up on its own. There is no mechanism connecting the trunk of the lamp to the base. It’s like the makers expect us to keep it balanced all the time. The harp to hold up the lamp shade is not included. The web description says it is compatible with “small” lamp shades but the attached tag says “medium” lamp shades. The base is very thin and low light quality…but of course that doesn’t even matter BECAUSE THE LAMP DOESN’T STAND UP. I’m never buying online from Target again.

Nice Lamp Bases But Damaged
These are beautiful and feel substanical but both were shipped from Franklin IN. warehouse damaged, and they weren't damaged due to shipping. I ordered two and one had marks all over the base and the other was missing a foot to it would very lopsided! No-way was NOT seen when packed. They look like used lamps! TARGET get your act together!

Not cheap looking and color is nice
This is so cute and the gold is not cheap looking at all! Not cheap at all based on some of the comments. It’s a brassy gold and it’s great quality. Pair it with a pretty shade and it will make it look high end. I’m picky on “gold” colors and this one is really nice.

Super cheap looking
Lamp base is fine but it's super cheap looking. Dollar store quality. I have loads of Studio McGee items that are high quality but this is going back.
