If the color needs to be removed, you'll want to use a Direct Pigment/Dye remover prior to attempt to "bleach the color out." Direct Dye Removers are specifically designed to remove the pigments that are deposited by semi-permanent, deposit only coloring products. Applying bleach directly to hair that has been colored with any brands semi-permanent pigments or using a "regular" (oxidative) dye remover, may result in the color driving further past the cuticle, into the shaft and staining the hair permanently.
