it's ok. doesn't do anything crazy noticable. I have red in my hair already and was suggested to use this to refresh the color and it looks basically the same. I buy a Garnier one for like $8 off Amazon that gives more results than this. not worth the price there are better cheaper options. also the minty smell isn't terrible but I don't get why a mint smell?

It didn't work on my dark brown hair
The only difference I see with the scarlet red on my dark brown hair is that my hair looks darker brown. My grey hair didn't even tint red at all. I left it on but at least 20 mins and used the whole tube to saturate my collarbone length hair. It did feel nice while the dye was on and my hair was nicely conditioned. Maybe this would work on bleached hair?

I have no idea why there are so many bad reviews. This hair masks works for me but I’m sad to see others have had a bad experience. I have bleached hair from the salon and they actually RECOMMENDED me this brand to keep my red highlights looking fresh. I am brunette. My highlights were almost completely faded before I used scarlet red overtone. See for yourself!

Overtone is definitely on my list of favorite things! I get so many compliments on my hair. I'm an Overtone early adopter and I tell EVERYONE to try it. The pigment is so concentrated and lasts longer than other products that I've tried-both professional and over the counter. I even love how it changes as it washes out over time. It smells great, is easy to apply and comes in so many fun colors. I love mixing my own shades. I even introduced my stylist to it and she loves it too!
