Too thick, not hot

I was truly disappointed this is not cocktail sauce. It is cocktail paste with no hot spices or horseradish flavor detectable. Exp is Nov/2023.

Tastes like tomato paste

I purchased this sauce to try as it had 'extra hot' on the jar. There was absolutely no heat or flavor other than tasting and looking like tomato paste. Very disappointing.

Guranteed good!

This sauce is the best I've ever tasted! I love to use it all of the time, but especially when I've got a stuffy nose from a cold or sinus problems. Take a shrimp, move it through the sauce until a good bit is on the shrimp, put it in your mouth, wait about 2 seconds. VOILA! Your sinuses are open and breathing is easy!

Perfect taste. I use to mix my own - seafood sauce and horseradish but this is perfect right out of the bottle. We use it almost daily as a veggie dip. This often is a substitute for a traditional salad and it also works as a snack.

Ever since the bottle cha

Ever since the bottle changed the taste is horrible. Can't even turn the paste into a decent sauce after several experiments. I used to love this sauce. Now I've thrown away about 4-5 after trying to fix it at home....

Hi Christopher. We did have a batch that was thicker than usual; but those items would be past their “Best By” dates at this point. Current purchases should be back to the original consistency. Used it all the time until McCormick switched the recipe from a sauce to a paste. I recently ordered a case; every bottle was a paste. Gave it away.

Loved this sauce! Would buy at least 2 jars a month. Was very disappointed when the recipe changed. Very thick sauce; doesn't taste the same. I will not buy again

Best money spent on extra

Best money spent on extra hot sauce for seafood. Thank you folks from mccormicks. All of my friends and family have enjoyed memories relating to this tasty experience. Every time I look in my fridge I think of the tasty sauce and wonderful times. Best pick me upper and reminder of the people I love. Thank you all again.
