I would probably have a better review for the dresser honestly if it would have came with instructions. After opening the box and getting all of the pieces organized i then realized it didnt come with any instructions on how to put it together. I luckily was able to find a you- tube video for a similar dresser and was able to fumble my way through and got it put together.

From the instructions tot he quality, horrible!!! After finally getting everything together the drawers do not go in and the safety latch keeps getting stuck. Now OTP w/customer service trying to return an assembled (drawers not in) product because it’s NOT usable!! Waste of time, money, & energy.

Mine came with no instruction, it smelled horrible. The boards are cheaply made. So many pieces, to put together. Do yourself a favor with the same price, go to IKEA. This is a piece of crap!!!!

Easy to assemble but after unboxing and organizing pieces blocked three damaged pieces. I wasn’t about to return to the store after unboxing as this is a very heavy box to begin with but then didn’t want to pack it all back up for returning. But the damaged pieces are still annoying and bothersome

DO NOT BUY! UNBELIEVABLY DIFFICULT TO PUT TOGETHER. Took two adults over 4 hours to do assemble. 33 pages of instructions with multiple steps on each page- they claim 26 steps but that’s not true. One “step” has multiple sub steps. Should not even be sold- shame on you target! I would have returned it but was in a pinch moving my daughter to college and ran out of time for another option. It’s also crap particle pdf wood. This was 10x worse than anything we’ve put together from IKEA. I’d give this 0 stars if that was an option. We also needed power drills to screw in more than 100 bolts, nails and screws.

Absolutely a piece of garbage. I've purchased many items that need assembly and this was the worst by far. From poor directions to holes not predrilled to the drawers not working due to a safety mechanism. It took my wife and I almost 5 hours and it still doesn't work properly. We had to make modifications to get all the drawers installed and they don't slide correctly. Target needs to take this piece of garbage of theirs shelves and refund all customers who purchased!

Went to pick up and drive up was going to place a box that was ridiculously damaged with visible damage on the product into my van. I’m so glad we looked at it before driving away. I can’t get over the fact that the employee saw visible scraping and damage on the dresser but yet was still going to load it for me to take home and build. Not sure if we will try another one or not. We might just order one from Amazon and take our chances that way!

100% worst design ever, too many tools, Target should take lessons from that Swedish company, flimsy, screw guide holes missing, posts have plastic that cracks so don't fit in holes. Augh! Bad buy.

We are so upset with this purchase. It took us all day to assemble, it is chipped and poorly made. We have bought this brand several times before and have never had an issue. Target should pull this one off the shelves to spare more people from the experience. I wish we could return it but we are so far invested in it, unfortunately it isn’t worth it at this point.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt obligated to warn others: this dresser is a masterclass in frustration. The assembly process was a disaster from the start. The instructions were vague, poorly illustrated, and lacked clear labeling. Step-by-step guidance was more of a guessing game than anything helpful. It felt like whoever wrote them had never actually built the dresser. To make matters worse, mine arrived missing several key screws — including ones needed to secure the drawer tracks. After multiple trips to the hardware store and a lot of improvising, I managed to get it standing, but even then, the drawers don’t slide properly, and the entire piece feels flimsy and unstable. I wanted a simple, affordable dresser. Instead, I got a headache, a pile of mystery parts, and hours of wasted time. You shouldn’t need a degree in engineering to assemble budget furniture. Would not recommend. Spend a little more for something that comes with all the parts and instructions that make sense.

We got this dresser on sale last week and saved around $40+ and it is a winner. While it is not exactly like the other Room Essentials Dresser, due to its Dorm Style, but it is fairly easy to put together, has a no-tip safety feature, allows you to only open one drawer at a time and it is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Whether you get it on sale (which is always my preference) or you pay full price (which is ok), this is a good buy for any age group.

Mine was missing screws

Did not last long. The top drawers face came off after a week of use. Parts just didn’t hold together even if you were careful with it.

This dresser lasted only an hour until it started chipping, a day before the top drawer stopped closing all the way, and a week before the drawer face broke from the rest of the drawer. Would not recommend

The edges of the drawers where you place your hands are sharp. The mechanism that stops the drawer from slamming shut doesn't allow the drawers to open sometimes. Definitely can't have 2 drawers open at once. The drawer mechanism seems cheap and poorly designed.

These are absolute garbage. The drawers do not align or work. JUNK

Holes were wrong/unaligned for one piece and we had to fix ourselves. Other wise the dresser is nice.

Disappointed with Quality – Drawers Don’t Close Properly I bought this 4-drawer dresser from Target expecting decent quality for the price, but unfortunately, I’m really disappointed. The drawers don’t close properly—some won’t slide in all the way, and others get stuck halfway. It’s frustrating trying to open and close them, especially when it’s supposed to be a functional storage piece. I followed all the assembly instructions carefully, so this seems to be a design or manufacturing issue. For something that’s meant to make organizing easier, this has been more of a hassle than it’s worth. I wouldn’t recommend this item unless the drawer mechanism is improved.
