Awful doesnt work anymore

I LOVEEEE this setting spray. It was the only "makeup" items I would splurge on. It worked and made my makeup last all day. Not only that but the SPRAY was amazing. I hate fine mists but this also wasn't one to leave droplets on your face. Dare I say the design and formula was PERFECT. But here we are with a redesign. Not sure if the formula change like others claim but it for sure is not the same spray. I genuinely stopped buying because of the bottle change. Thankfully I kept an old one to try and refil with a different setting spray. Because I am not spending the money on a product I don't completely love. If you love the spray of the old bottle and like a dewey look, Anastasia BH has one with the old bottle spray. LOVE it. That's what I've switched to AND it's slightly cheaper which is always a plus. Save your time and find something that goes on more evenly.

I am aproaching 50 and have not been able to use setting sprays do to reaction from acohol. Fixt does not upset my skin. I use foundation powder and blush. I spray fixt before and after it takes away the dullness and plumps my skin and make up lays beautifully. Smooths fine lines too

This has been my holy grail for years and I am devastated to say it is no longer… the new spray is soooo fine it barely feels like it does anything the way it distributes… I want to feel wet when I spray my face lol and I can spray and spray using sooo much product and it just does not give the way it used to. Will be returning and moving on.

Bad MAC! why was the spray nozzle changed? the new one is not good. I have been using mac fix + spray for years and years but will need to move on to something else after they've pulled this. the old nozzle was perfect. you'd turn it to one side when not in use. had a good weight and looked good. this new one sprays out unevenly and patchy. I hate it.

Been using fix + for years. I like to use it when I apply milk of magnesia on my skin as a primer. Fix + will get rid of the ashy look. Also it's good for fixing foundation if it's a little off. Good for oily skin. Has a light mister.

I've used MAC setting sprays before but this particular one leaves white spots all over my face. They go away after I blot the spots with a beauty blender but even drug store brands have never had this effect in my face. Will mever buy again, actually first MAC product that disappointed me. Not happy, amd its not like its cheap.

This is a fantastic fixing spray! It is not a setting spray - it is meant to be used in between layers when applying makeup (apply foundation- spray, apply concealer- spray, etc.). You still need to set it with an actual setting spray (most setting sprays have alcohol as an ingredient, this does not). It is great to refresh and hydrate the skin while applying makeup, keeping it looking fresh throughout the day and keeping your skin happy. I highly recommend it, especially if you have dry skin.

I've used this setting spray for 2-3 years now I did not know y'all changed the bottle I sadly have been using the matte one and that one broke out my skin after finally being aware of the bottle change I finally got one MAC never get rid of this!! PLEASE

Not sure what the hype is??? It does not set nor fix or melt anything. IMO its like spraying water on my face. I will go back to either UD ir my fave aerosol Morphe. Still need to check out Milk.

The picture on this listing is of the old bottle. There is a new bottle now that has a fine mist. I think both bottles have merit. I will be refilling both bottles. The old bottle I like better for melding the powder makeup with your skin (like before applying cream products on the cheeks or at the end of all powder products before mascara). The new bottle I like better if you are using it at the very end for setting or to refresh later. The product itself hasn't changed thankfully

So i bought this the day before i started my new job i added the spray after patiently after doing my make up next thing you know i have white dots all over my face and i was about to leave so i quickly got a brush and blended the dots off.. not sure if its an allergy thing but i also tried it this morning no make up and got a burning sensation and whjte dots once again i had heard someone say to shake it well and even after that still same issue so sadly i will be returning it :(

my mom reccomended this to me and literally none of my makeup budged!! one issue i did have was that it does feel a bit wet sometimes, but other than that, I 100% RECCOMEND IT!!

I was so excited to try out this setting spray! I didn't buy it for years because of the price. Now that my bottle is about half gone, I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed. I apply it liberally over setting powder - the same way I use all my other setting sprays - and my foundation rubs off throughout the day. I was just trying to remove a spot of mascara from my cheek and my foundation rubbed off with it. Mind you, this is foundation that I've used many times before and never have an issue with. I typically use the Elf setting spray in the blue bottle and my makeup doesn't budge, even if I rub my face. I've only had makeup on for a few hours and it's like I didn't apply any setting spray at all. Other sprays also have a finer mist - this one does not, to my surprise.

I like it all tho i use when i need a spray buy nice

I've always had an issue with my makeup "melting" into my skin halfway through the day, especially mu blush. I've tried a number of different primers and various formulas of blush,, but none of them really did the trick so I thought I would give this a try since I newly discovered MAC foundation and like it a lot. I began by misting lightly on my freshly cleansed skin, waiting a minute, then applying foundation, bronzer, and blush, lightly spraying before each layer and allowing a minutes or so of dry time between. To my surprise, when I checked my makeup on my lunch hour, it looked the same as it did when I first applied that morning. No need for a refresh, even my blush! As a matter of fact, it looked the same at 5:00. I know I only tried it once but I must say, this really worked well right out of the gate. I will definitely buy this again and again!

I have never experienced such a perfect primer and/or setting spray. It makes my makeup look better, last longer, and stops it from smudging. Plus, I've had less acne breakouts since beginning to use this.
