After hearing my sister and brother in law brag about this portable speaker, and because I have been purchasing Bose products, all the way back to the Wave radio, I decided to jump in and make another Bose purchase. I'm glad that I did because the wonderful and I can enjoy some of my favorite music while I work on my computer.

I bought 2 of these so I could link them for stereo, however, it is extremely problematic trying to link them. It usually takes me a good 20 minutes of pushing the shortcut button before it finally connects. I have read everything I can about the issue and how to link them but it always requires hitting the pairing button over and over, turning it on and off, removing the connection from wi-fi and reconnecting and other trouble shooting before they pair. I love the sound, size and appearance but am extremely frustrated with the ability to operate them in stereo mode.

Love these speakers. I am a musician and am very picky about sound. These speakers go above and beyond the sound quality Iwas expecting. The base is phenomenal. They stay charged for a long time so I am not having to recharge every day. They make hanging out on the patio with friends especially enjoyable.

Hi Smitty. Thank you for your post. You need another Soundlink Flex 2 to pair two speakers. Stereo Mode allows you to unlock a stereo audio experience where the left and right speaker play separately. To use Stereo Mode with a SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen) Speaker, a second SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen) is required. When connecting two SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen) speakers via the shortcut button, Stereo Mode will be the default. You can switch between Stereo Mode and Party Mode via one product press of the shortcut button or in the Bose app via the toggle.
