Used item sold as new
I bought this based on an email Target sent about Bose sale. The speaker was not available at my local Target, had it shipped from another store. When I tried to register it with Bose, found out the warranty had expired 2 years ago. Target sold me a 3 year old, previously used and registered item as new. Now I have no warranty and can't get help from Bose. Do not purchase electronics from Target!

An older manufacturing date on the serial number simply reflects when the product was made, not that it’s used or refurbished. Target is an authorized Bose retailer and often stocks products in bulk, so older dates are normal. For warranty, we honor 1 year from the date of purchase, so please keep your receipt or invoice. Bought as a speaker to use in the house and outside in yard. Very impressed! Bought the charging base also but not in pressed with the way the power cord connects to it. The cord unplugs from the base when you move it. Wouldn't waste the money on that.

Great purchase.
I bought a second one to pair with the first one I purchased. When pair together in a hotel room or secondary location watching TV. It's true stereo sound with deep content. Good mids and bass. Not booming bass but solid. Highs are good too. Nice crisp sound. Music is excellent also. Im looking forward to my purchase of the ultra soundbar for my pool patio set up
