I have been eating these bars for years. Recently they taste really bad. I thought it was a couple of bad batches but now. I think something has changed I can’t eat them anymore without almost vomiting. So. I will no longer be buying these and will look to find a different source of quick protein for my mornings Mine has a best if used by date of 10JAN2026HN12:35 3A Also. Not a fan of waisting money.

I have been buying these for many many years. The ingredients or recipe have changed and they taste horrible now. These now have some sort of chemical burnt aftertaste to them. Whatever the manufacturer changed, they are now inedible.

I have been purchasing these snack bars since I was pregnant with my oldest son who is now 11. It was recommended by my dietitian from the hospital due to my diet restrictions and I thought they were delicious. There has been a recent change in the flavor and I will no longer buy them. They taste gross and chemically. I even purchase another box to double check I didnt get a bad batch. Its truly sad because I basically ate one a day. Whatever was changed in the ingredients has ruined something great. I hope they change it back.

I’ve bought these bars for years in a large quantities at Sam’s Club. They’d become a staple as a quick breakfast or snack on the go. Something has went wrong. The bars have shrunk… a lot. They don’t taste the same & I’ll be looking for a replacement from another brand. Not sure why you changed something that was perfect the way it was.

I used to love these protein bars, they were my go to postpartum. They must have changed the recipe recently because this latest box tasts tastes really artificial and I can barely eat them anymore. Very sad as they were a really affordable delicious choice and now they aren't worth it for the fake protein taste.

I used to grab the bars on the go every morning. I bought 2 more boxes and noticed something tasted off. Thought I was just eh box so I opened the next box and same thing. I saw some of the reviews from others and they agree. Whatever has changed in the recipe it was not a good change. I don’t think I can continue buying these, as they taste like they’re sour or spoiled now every time I eat one.

The dark chocolate peanut butter protein bars have a different taste and sadly I will no longer will be buying these bars. The taste is so bad I threw my box away. If it’s not broken don’t try and fix it.

I used to enjoy this product, then the ingredients changed. There are not as many nuts and the bars are smaller. While I understand things change. Remember "New Coke", please bring back the old recipe.

Imagine my surprise when I opened my most recent box of these bars finding it just a little over half full. I suppose this company thinks that we wouldn’t notice way less product for way more money. Definitely not worth the price. I have kept these on hand for me and my family for years. No more! Fool me once Nature Valley. Without a refund, you won’t fool me again! Just tried for the first time. Nutritionally I like them in terms of a lot of the fat being from peanuts, just the right amount of chocolate so not too sugary, good amount of protein= all positive. Texture is great, some crisps, nice chewiness, not tough, not mealy like some bars. But holy cow, will never buy again based on how salty they are. They taste at least as salty as they are sweet, yet aren't labelled to be a salt + sweet combo. Found the saltiness to be just disgusting, and drank a bunch of water afterwards. Too bad.

The last 2 and a half boxes I got from Vons haven't been as good. The taste is way different. Choclate taste weird and strong might be the Chocolate Liquer in the chips. You can't taste any Peanut Butter any more its all just nuts. Some of the bars have a burnt peanut taste too. If the recipe has changed go back to the old one. If it's not that my Vons got a bad shipment

The Chocolate tastes stronger (Not sure if it's the Choclate liquer in the chips) you can't taste the peanut butter anymore and every other bar sometimes has a burnt peanut taste. I miss when these tasted like a literal Peanut butter cup Bar.

Today I brought a nature valley protein bar with me to work for lunch and was very disappointed in what I found. I have been eating these granola bars for years and today when I went to have my lunch I opened my bar to find some kind a fuzzy black bug with lots of legs. I thought that was it but I also found two more that were similar only smaller and gray. I was not able to eat my snack and will be throwing away the rest of my box.

Bars taste really good but I don’t like that the calories are not well advertised on the box. The bar has 200 calories why does the box says 190? That is false advertisement.
