Polite Society More Than A Pretty Powder - Universal Translucent - Ulta Beauty

This is the best setting powder Ive ever used. After isung this I've realized no other powder has ever actuslly worked for me. I will always use this.

Decided to try this during 21 Days of Beauty and OMG! I absolutely love it! I only wear translucent powder on the daily and this is the best I have tried by far. It goes on like silk, my face feels like silk all day, it erases my pores, gives an airbrushed look, and is just amazing all around. I will continue to buy and want to try the other colors now. The design isn't great, but I just lightly dipped my brush into the container and tapped off the excess back into the container.

I loved this powder so much — no creasing, airbrushed look with staying power. However, the value is absolutely diabolical. If you look at any other prestige brand (Laura Mercier, Fenty, etc.) selling their setting powder at a similar price, you're getting WAY more product for your money. It's really hard to overlook that when I go thru this one way faster than any other brand I've tried. Plus, the container sucks. Really disappointed because I do prefer the formula over the others.

Really great powder foundation!

I received a sample of the translucent, used it and practically ran to Ulta to buy a full size. Absolutely love this power! Blurs my pores, wears all day and leaves my skin feeling silky smooth. Will definitely repurchase!

This powder gives you an air brushed finish. No grit or feel what so ever. Light weight, it truly feels like nothing on your skin. You can SEE the airbrushed effect as you apply, it's like watching a filter being applied to your face!

My old favorite setting powder was discontinued and I've been on a a search for a replacement. I received this in a sample bag on a previous order and I'm so glad I did. I had never heard of Polite Society before so I possibly would never have found this powder and I love it! It's truly translucent, it leaves no color at all. Blurs my pores, sets my makeup, makes all the shiny spots matte, plus it's made with clean ingredients. It's perfect.

I think this might be the BEST setting powder I've ever used - and I've used them all. It blurs your face and sets your make up for the entire day. I have oily skin and there was no shine. Love love love!!

I used to use HB easy bake. I'm now 31, and it looks BEYOND cakey and settles into my fine lines so badly. I've tried THREE OTHER powders since, and none of them gave me a soft, blurred look. they all were way over-mattifying and looked super cakey on me. I just received a sample of this and gave it a shot and I absolutely LOVE it! it gives a beautiful blur, but isn't overly mattifying and lets me still glow underneath. I don't even know how to explain it- it's beautiful and isn't "too much". I can set my makeup without feeling like I'm completely ruining it. this powder is so good- PLEASE don't change this formula!

I was so excited due to it being acne, friendly due to all the recommendations leaving about how good it is don't get me wrong. It looks promising when you apply it, but at the second hour, your face looks chalky and separated all my make up, but here's the worst part. It made me get small, tiny acne bumps, which that was the biggest factor of why I got it ! My face also started feeling irritated around the eighth hour. That's when I took off my make up and noticed the tiny bumps.

The packaging feels very cheap and flimsy, and there's a surprisingly small amount of product inside. For the price, I expected something of much higher quality – both in presentation and performance. Unfortunately, the powder didn't make any noticeable difference to my skin. If you're looking for a mattifying effect, there are plenty of drugstore brands that are not only more effective but also far more affordable – offering more product for a fraction of the price. Wouldn't repurchase.

I received the transparent powder as a sample with my order. I brought it with me to a conference and this powder not only kept my oily skin in check, it blurred like no other powder I have tried. Even after 12 hours of work under hot lights and walking in 100+ degree weather, my skin looked flawless. I will definitely purchase the full size

Excellent product

I had been using the O/S pink setting powder even though it was causing me some breakouts.. the blurring aspect was just too good compared to any other setting powder I looked past the breakouts… UNTIL i found this one. It blurs and mattifies so well and causes me NO breakouts! I switched to PS pink powder. Love it.

This is the very best setting powder. 110% hands down. 20 stars. Highly recommend it!! Love what it does to my skin. I don't even need foundation. It's amazing.

The best powder for oil control and bringing brightness to the skin. Since I have extremely oily skin it's perfect and keeps me shine free for over 8 hours. Now I'm using it for my brides, wedding parties, photo shoots, etc. And it does not give hot spots in the picture.

Great feeling powder and evens out everything

Light weight and great coverage! Not that expensive! Lasts on face for over 8 hours wich is better than any other powder I have ever used.

I absolutely LOVED this setting powder. Normally I never use anything other than Huda Beauty's powder, but decided to give it a try after hearing lots of rave reviews. It is super finely milled and feels like silk. No issues with creasing and held my makeup in all day (I live in humid FL). It legit made my makeup look like it was airbrushed on. The reason I took off two stars was due to the horrible packaging and the fact that you're only getting 0.3 oz of product for $34. For reference, with Huda Beauty you're paying $38 for 0.71 oz, One Size $34 for 1.2 oz, Laura Mercier $43 for 1oz, Kosas $38 for 0.7 oz, Fenty $36 for 0.98 oz. Not to mention, due to the packaging, you're likely won't even be able to get all 0.3 oz from it because 1.) the opaque packaging keeps you from being able to see what's left and 2.) when you get to the end, it becomes harder, if not impossible to get the product out. Also, with not being able to see the amount of product left, it's hard to tell when it's time to order a new one. The packaging is a bit heavy so it's not like you can tell how much is left just by shaking it around. If Polite Society would tweak their packaging and add more product to each unit, I wouldn't use anything else and I would be much more likely to recommend it to others. Until then, my suggestion is to try another brand, you can get a lot more for your money with products that work just as well and you won't have to fight to get it out of the packaging.

i had horrible flashback after using this powder. also looks so patchy under the eyes and for some reason makes my foundation oxidize to look orange. definitely not beightening so if thats what you're looking for this isn't thw product.
