No, for the Shokz OpenFit 2, others generally cannot hear your audio at normal volumes because they use DirectPitch™ technology to deliver sound privately, bypassing the eardrum, but at higher volumes, especially with bass, some sound leakage may occur, so someone sitting right next to you might hear a faint whisper of the music in a quiet room.     Awesome product

    I have the OpenComm Bone Conduction headset for work and love it. When I was looking for a replacement for my old ear buds, I figured I would try Shokz OpenFit 2. Couldn't be happier with these ear buds. The sound quality is outstanding and since they are no in the ear canal, you can hear what is going on around you. Perfect for the gym or an outdoor run. I wear these all day when no working. I highly recommend them!

    Gift for a runner - success

    My husband has ran for years with old-school foam ear-pad headphones that plugged into his iPhone. He loves these open fit 2 wireless buds that fit over the ear. He is happy.

    Great, but not with excessive sweating

    I’ve had these earbuds for 3 years now. I use them mainly for running. These are not noise cancellation headphones which is the purpose of getting them. I like that I can hear and be aware of my surroundings while listening to my music. They stay on my ear really well through my long runs and speed runs. The only thing that I don’t like about them is that when sweat runs down my ears it gets into the headsets and muffles the sound quality. Therefore, I would have to take them off and dry them the best i could. The temporary solution I have is to wear a sweatband.

    Surprisingly good sound down to ~60hz. Comfortable, secure, and allows for awareness of your surroundings. The only caveat I have is that for larger ears, the speakers sit higher and further from your ear canal.

    Not the best

    They are static-y and don’t have the best volume quality. My phone isn’t even far from the ear buds and it’ll start to skip on the audio. Really upset I am past the return window on these expensive ear buds.

We first recommend ensuring that the latest firmware version has been updated via the Shokz app for the best experience with your OpenFit 2. We then recommend resetting your Shokz. To reset your Shokz OpenFit 2 earbuds, place both earbuds into the charging case and hold the button on the case for 15 seconds. The indicator light will flash orange for five seconds, then turn off, indicating the reset is complete. Afterward, the light will flash orange and green, signaling they are in pairing mode. If the issue persists, we have a two-year warranty on all Shokz, we'd be happy to assist you in filing a warranty claim so you can receive a replacement pair!     Ordered new, but oroduct was used and damaged

    I bought it them new. Picked them up from the store. The product is damaged and has finger prints on it. So even though a bought a new pair they sold me a used pair. I am beyond angry given the price point. The Target app will not let me return the item. It says the item cannot be returned. Unacceptable. You ca see the product has a cut in the soft material on one headphone. The other is scuffed and the scuffed one had finger prints on it.

    Shokz Over Ear Ear Buds

    The sound is great. I have a small ear and these are the only ones I have found that work for me. I've tested running and walking and do not fall out.

    Quit after one week

    They worked for about a week and then would no longer connect to Bluetooth. Even the Shokz app can’t find them chat say to do a reset by pressing a button but there’s nothing identifiable as a button that I can see I tried chat and that was not helpful so I called in and he’s probably reading from the same manual because he gave me the same directions when I asked for clarification of what a button is there was no help.

    Great purchase and value!

    Having both the physical button and a touch feature makes it a very accessible design for me. Comfortable to wear while I ski or work out otherwise. Battery life is great and charging is efficient!

    I have been using Shokz for a few years and pretty much ditched my AirPods, my wife had been ordering headphones for 6 months and wasn’t impressed but wouldn’t spend the money so I surprised her with these and guess what…. She loves them! Not a single complaint, that’s a win!

    They are not bone conduction but very good sound. They have a very loud volume. I like the real button instead of touch. Very comfortable. Not great for my work in construction. I like them for everyday use. I will buy more in the future.
