I have used zesty paws treats for my dogs for years and the dogs think they are delicious. However, the cat will not eat these. Does a sniff and has no interest at all.

My cat will not eat a bacon flavoured product. I would like to cancel all future bacon flavored products for my cat. I will only accept all mailings )for cats) that contain chicken flavor.

What can be done to keep the chews moist? they are already dried out when the seal is lifted.

Seems to help
First issue: The print on the package is difficult to read even with a magnifying glass due to size and lack of contrast with the background. Second issue: My cat does not like the taste, but they crush very easily so I am mixing into a squeezable treat that she does like. My cat throws up very frequently, and I have not been able to solve it with multiple vet visits, special foods, or gooey hairball treatments that she has to lick off her feet. She runs when she sees me coming if she thinks I am going to mess with her feet. These DO seem to help, so I am encouraged. I am using a small amount of the treat, about one or two a day, and have not had any throw up messes since I started using them.

I would order this product again
I have been giving my two cats this product for about two weeks. I have noticed a difference in their coat. However, I do have to break it up and sprinkle it and mix it with their wet food as they refuse to eat the actual treat. They will smell and lick the treat but will not eat it as is. I am not sure if it might be a texture thing as it is a chewy treat. I definitely would love to see a hard treat as my cats love anything crunchy. Overall I will recommend because regardless of the texture my cats are still getting the benefits.

Large and crumbly
I ordered these for my 3 cats. I have one aging cat and two young cats. One of the younger cats struggles with skin allergies. I was hoping to try something more natural than her prescription medications (for health and cost). Unfortunately mine came very dry and crumbly. None of my cats would eat these (even the baby garbage disposal that eats everything). Customer service was great and are sending me something for my dog in their place. I would also note that the size is rather large for cats.

I wouldn't purchase the Hairball Bites again.
I tried these Hairball Bites for all three of my cats but none of them had any interest in them.

Excellent hairball relief, can't buy by itself
This is the only hairball supplement that has significantly reduced my cat's hairball issues. I crush it and mix it with his food. Four stars because it can only be found on the web site in a bundle and can't be bought by itself.

Zesty Paws Cat Hairball Bites
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought other products that claim to help with hair balls without much help but this product did help with hair balls for the time we tried it. We have had our cats for a long time and we only try to feed them good things. I would buy this product because the cats liked the taste and would go crazy when I opened the bag. I would recommend it to my friends and family. The only negative thing I would say is that the product had an odd smell. Otherwise it was a good experience.

He would not stop til I forked it up.. although they were a little to soft my daughter grabbed the bag to give her kitty some treats and smashed the rest. Glad there wasn't many in there, I was still disappointed. Love these treats though.
