Prequel AM/PM Modern Face Moisturizers - 2 fl oz

Love this moisturizer for my oily skin!! Light enough to not make me shiny and hydrating enough to quench my dehydrated oily skin. Keeps my hydrated while not making me too shiny 😊 Also an amazing list of ingredients and doesn’t pill under sunscreen!

I loved this moisturizer. This moisturizer is perfect because it soaks in the skin instantly while still packing a punch with ingredients such as peptides and ceramides which is important to me. The only con is the size offered. A bigger size is a must! would love to use on the face and body but the amount is small

I love this moisturizer and was over the moon when I first tried it. The formulation and the ingredients check all my boxes. It's thick and cushiony without feeling the slightest bit heavy. It dries down so quickly and doens't feel greasy. Unfortunately, it pills on me. I only use this in the morning as a I have dry skin and need a heavy-hitter at night. My morning routine conissts of vitamin c, prequels multi-quench serum, a perscription gel, and this moisturizer as the final layer. I've tried applying less, waiting for my serums to dry down first as well as not waiting for them to dry, and no matter what it pills. The only time I noticed it doesnt pill is if I dont put anything on underneath and just apply after washing my face which unfortunately doesnt work for me. I'm looking for a moisturizer that fits my routine not requires me to edit it. I suspect its the dimethicone as I've noticed most formulas that contain it high in the list will pill on me. However, some formulations still work for me so I don't rule it out entirely. I think pilling is very routine and person specific. Hopefully this doesn't happen to others. Sadly the search continues for me. I'm quite bummed.

I’ve been a Dieux Instant Angel devotee since it launched, and while this isn’t quite as luxurious as that, I’ve been looking for something a bit lighter (and a LOT cheaper) for summer since I live in a very hot, humid climate. This is by far the best moisturizer out there at anything remotely in this price point. It doesn’t feel like much going on, but somehow my face feels more moisturized by morning, like someone snuck in and applied more while I was sleeping. I don’t need another layer for day while it’s still a million degrees out, but this will definitely be my daytime moisturizer for winter.

I currently use this as my PM moisturizer over tretanoin and it feels comfortable and soothing without being to greasy and heavy. I have reactive sensitive skin and this along with all the other prequel products I’ve tried really helped me to tolerate tretanoin better!

Have been using this a couple of weeks on my face. My face was a getting irrated from exfoliating and since I started using this cream I have been is so soft.

This is my favorite moisturizer! I used to only use cera ve moisturizers with the moisturizer cream being me go to. But then I developed a contact dermatitis to petrolatum and lanolin. Which are the bases of most moisturizers on the market. And this one is dimethicone without any fragrance and is thick enough for my dra skin to last all day and be used with my rosacea and retinol medications. I will recommend this to anyone. Especially for people with dry and sensitive skin

Another rock star product from Prequel. How they keep putting out banger after banger is something truly special to Dr. Sam and this brand. So so so good. Your skin will feel like velvet in the morning when you wake up. It is really the best moisturizer of any price point I have tried. Melts into the skin-doesn’t just form a film on top. Not too heavy. Not too light. It’s just right. At night when I need extra hydration or moisture I just add a tiny bit of the Prequel Skin Utility Ointment over the top. Perfection!

This is a perfect mid weight moisturizer that I absolutely adore and want to use both day and night. The texture of this cream is very unique and pleasing. The complexion looks great afterwards, never greasy with very soft matte finish. The price is also very affordable and makes this cream even more appealing to use. I will definitely repurchase as it checks all my points to qualify for one of the best moisturizers I ever used.

I am 74 and have used a .05 Tretinoin cream daily for several years. I have been using Cerave items. So far, I’ve used Prequel face wash and the am/pm moisturizer. The moisturizer is very good, including around the eye area. It has a unique texture, in my experience. Not greasy, and counterbalances the dryness I get from Tretinoin. Next I’ll try the serum.

My skin loves this!! I have dry/sensitive skin, prone to acne, but not to bad. I use this along with the half and half moisturizer and let me tell you is amazing. It is so hydrating, leaves skin so soft and not greasy. It has a thick consistency without feeling too heavy. So far I haven't breakout while using the product. Highly recommend.

The texture is very unique. It feels like if Barrier Therapy and Skin Utility Balm had a baby it would be this product. Glides on smoothly and absorbs quickly to a semi-matte finish. For extremely dry skin like mine, it needs Half and Half layered underneath to be most effective. Overly all, it’s a nice moisturizer.

I bought this product since 1 week and my goodness it’s just beyond words. I was looking for a moisturizer for so long and I think my hunt ends at this moisturizer. Thank you so much Dr. Sam & Prequel team. Lots of prayers for you 🙏

I have Rosacea and extremely sensitive skin. I love this moisturizer. It is hydrating enough for my dry skin, yet light weight enough to not flare my Rosacea and redness. Heavy moisturizers will usually trigger my Rosacea with redness, burning, and stinging in my cheeks. Usually, moisturizers that are hydrating will cause my Rosacea bumps to show up in force on my face. I have been wearing it for a few days now with no issues. The texture feels luxurious. My skin feels very calm and hydrated. Finally, I have found my holy grail moisturizer! I highly recommend this product.

I rarely write reviews but this product is AMAZING!! Fabulous consistency and finish. I love having it in a tube with a cap that screws on. ❤️❤️❤️ Its my favorite Prequel product so far and I have almost all of them!

I don’t usually leave reviews this early, so I can’t speak to long-term results yet—but after just one day and night of use, I’m really impressed. The texture is fantastic: not too light, not too heavy, and it spreads easily with no tugging or streaking. It melts into the skin beautifully and leaves my face feeling soothed and comforted without any greasy shine. My only real complaint is the packaging. I really wish it came in a larger flip-top cap tube instead of the current twist-off cap. During my routine, my hands are often slippery from other products, and opening the cap can be frustrating. For something marketed as a daily staple, I think the packaging could be a lot more user-friendly.

I just got this new moisturizer and once again, Prequel has knocked it out of the park. This is a beautiful cream that somehow manages to be light enough to wear under makeup, but rich enough to use at night over retinol. It is super hydrating but not greasy. Prequel is the best skin care I’ve ever used, and this is another superior product.

I got this the other day and so far I love it. The texture is something I haven’t felt yet in a skin care product, which is a good thing. It plays well with make up and sunscreen. It has a skin like finish, so not too light and not too rich. I’m also acne prone and tend to get shiny midday and I feel like this didn’t contribute to feeling oily yet I still felt moisturized.
