Mixed Review
I love the scent of this deodorant and I have used the original shea butter dove deodorant and I loved it. This one does not last and makes me stink!! Definitely stick to normal deodorant or layer this with another one! I have noticed a difference in the color of my armpits though.

This WORKS! I got a bad chemical burn from the Secret clinical strength deodorant and after healing, my underarms were very dark. After a little over a month of using this deodorant,my underarms have lightened SO much. No itch, no burn, smooth application. Will continue to be my go-to!

I originally grabbed this deodorant because I liked the scent but it is now my favorite! It has a soft vanilla scent that is not overwhelming. It is moderate to long lasting for me, only having to reapply when sweating a lot from strenuous work and stress sweat. When I first bought, I didn’t expect the “even tone” to work but after going through 2-3 sticks of this deodorant, I was surprised to one day notice how clear my underarms were. This is a definite repurchase for me!

Nauseating Vanilla smell
Gross! they replaced the best smell of apple blossom and mango butter with this typical wagon hopper shea butter vanilla. Not everyone likes vanilla nor do I care about shea butter, those two scents are in enough items. Will purchase their other even tone Rice water fragrance. Not everyone wants to smell like a cookie!

WORKS AMAZING!
I had been using Dove for years and decided to switch to a natural deodorant. When I did that, it ended up discoloring my skin drastically, darkening my underarms and causing irritation. I then switched back to Dove and tried the "even tone". Within two weeks my underarms were back to my natural color with zero irritation!

I love it!
Ive been using it over the past weeks and I love how it doesn't stain my clothes or dry my skin. It keeps me fresh almost all day, I only have to reapply once in one day. I love the vanilla scent. I still haven't noticed any change to my skin, hopefully the longer I use it I'll start seeing my skin tone even out. Even Tone + lovely smell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Even Tone Shea Butter & Vanilla Antiperspirant Stick has a really nice smell. It's a milky vanilla that's very pleasant. It is also a very good antiperspirant. I was actually surprised because I use clinical strength antiperspirants and thought this product would fall short, but it didn't. My main interest in using it was regarding the even tone properties it has. Niamicide, a proven ingredient in treating dark spots, is one ingredient, so that was reassuring from the start. I've have not used the stick for the recommended three weeks yet, but I'm seeing some progress in the evening of the skin. received this product for free from Topbox Marketing for testing and review purposes.

Even Toning Antiperspirant

The best part is that the skin tone in my underarms has become lighter. It was a bit darker than my normal skin tone. I like the smell and the confidence that this antiperspirant provides. Dove's Even Tone +Niacinamide 48H Shea Butter & Vanilla Deodorant is an absolute winner! Formulated with Niacinamide, it helps restore skins natural tone. After shaving, my skin can sometimes feel itchy and dry, but this deodorant moisturized my skin with its 1/4 quarter moisturizers. The Vanilla and Shea Butter scent makes me feel extra confident! It is PETA approved, vegan, and lasts up to 48 hours. It did not rub off on my clothes. This deodorant definitely makes easing into short sleeve shirts much easier! Pleasant Scent and Effective Sweat Reduction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dove's Even Tone Shea Butter & Vanilla Antiperspirant Stick is effective at stopping/reducing sweating and protecting from odor. It leaves underarms feeling soft and smooth. The shea butter and vanilla scent is nice and lasts hours after applying the product. This antiperspirant has helped to stop or at least reduce my sweating much better compared to different brands. I love the scent of it; it's pleasant and seems to last hours after applying it. However, I can't confirm that odor or sweat protection lasts 48 hours as claimed since I shower and reapply the product daily. Despite using this antiperspirant daily for at least 3 weeks, I haven't noticed my underarm skin tone improving. I am fair-skinned, so that may be why. Those with darker skin tones might be more likely to notice an improvement. My underarms do feel softer and smoother though after applying the antiperspirant. The only thing I don't like is that it's hard to take the cap off when I want to use the product. I have arthritis in my hands and fingers so that probably contributes. I would love it if Dove would in the future make the caps easier to remove or even make different shaped caps for those with disabilities or impairments to use.
