Great for fine, thin hair
The Everyday Shine shampoo bar works great for my fine, thin hair. Unlike some other shampoo bars, this one leaves my hair smooth and soft, not greasy or weighed down. I also use the Everyday Shine conditioner bar every couple of washes, and it's the perfect duo!

Pleasantly surprised
I've been using the everyday shine shampoo bar and the hydrating conditioner bar for a few weeks now. I've tried shampoo bars in the past that left my hair feeling gritty and unclean (this was a different brand than Ethique), so I was a bit skeptical/worried when a friend of mine suggested these ones. However, I am SO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED with both the shampoo and conditioner bar. My hair feels so clean, and there's no gritty/grimy feeling that I experienced with that other brand. I also tend to have oily roots and dry ends (which is why I mix-and-matched the shampoo and conditioner bar), so I wash my hair every day. After just one week, I found that I wasn't waking up with oily hair in the morning, and my hair felt fuller and healthier than the name-brand shampoo bottle I was using previously. I truly am impressed, and I love these bars. I will definitely continue purchasing these products and highly recommend them to anyone who's feeling a little skeptical or who hasn't had success with shampoo bars in the past. These are the BEST!

My first purchase with new rebrand
This was my first purchase with the new rebrand and I will say that the new shape of the bar is great! This shampoo bar lathers soooo well (almost too much). But I'm happy to say that I'll get lots of use out of it. I also noticed after the first wash that my hair was extremely smooth. However, two things that I'm not a fan of is the overpowering sweet candy smell of the bar itself. It doesn't leave that smell in your hair (not that I noticed), but the smell of the bar alone is too much for me. You can smell the scent through the box...yeah, it's that strong. The other thing that I wasn't a fan of is how the new shape doesn't fit in the travel tins, which is pretty disappointing to me. I got one a few years back and recently for a friend, and now I can't use the travel case with the bar as is. Don't get me wrong, I like the new shape, but I wish in the design process they had considered the dimensions of the travel case so that we can still use them. I know they suggest cutting the bar, but I would have rather have a bit less product if it had allowed the new bar shape to fit in the travel tin.

I love my shampoo! And I really like the new shape--- it fits my head and is loads easier to use, although I admit it's a little harder to merge my small remainder bar with my new big bar but I can do it. I do wish you could find different colors for the boxes! The Repair, Anti frizz, AND Shine are all in variations on pink! Ultra has started carrying them and I accidently bought the wrong pink box! The Anti Fix was ok but didn't seem to get my hair as clean and soft as the Shine shampoo does. And no huge plastic bottles!!

Great new shape
I have the old square bars and I recently bought the new bars. I like the new shape a lot more than the old shape. I don't drop the new shape, it's easier to hold on to. I always seem to drop the conditioner of the old bar because it's so slippery. This doesn't happen with the new bars.

This was my first time trying this bar, I am happy with the smell, lather, and overall quality. I also like the new moon shape, I have found they don't get soggy at all, compared to the previous square ones.

Everyday Shine Bar Review
I tried the old formula volume bar from Ethique which stripped my hair too much, making my scalp oily quickly. This bar suits me much better. Plus I feel it foams up more quickly. However, it doesn't dry as quickly as the old volume bar. Not sure if it's the shape or the formula but I don't think this one will last as long. Overall I recommend giving this bar a try if the volume bar didn't work for you.

Jury is currently out
I am a long time customer and this shampoo has always been my ride or die. I just used the new bar and from the first lather I could tell that you changed the ingredients. Also not a fan of the fact that the new packaging isn't compostable. I want to see you all succeed but not at the cost of the quality of your products. So currently I'm leaning disappointed and sad. The price goes up and the quality goes down.

I continue to buy this product because it checks all the boxes for me! Environmentally effective, easy to hold and use, thick, clean hair that doesn't "perfume the room" and incredible lather that is so luxurious!!! Love it and recommend it highly!

The only shampoo!
This bar is really the only shampoo, bar or liquid, that makes my hair feal clean. It lathers, but I don't feel any sort of coating by the end of the day. I went away from it and tried other kinds and came crawling back because my hair was just terrible! I'm a die hard fan of this! :)
