I have suffered from hyper hydrosis since I was in middle school (I’m 34 now), I tried just about every deodorant out there searching for something that would help with the excessive sweating, even on cold days I would have a sweat stain in my under arms. I started using carpe about 2.5 years ago when I randomly got an add for it. After reading the reviews I ordered it, I could not believe it stopped my sweating, I was so used to always having damp underarms it was amazing to finally feel dry. I recommend this to anyone that has excessive sweating. I’m excited target carries this now bc I’ve been paying anywhere from $20 to $25 to have it shipped from carpe directly and/or Amazon.

    It is the only thing that will work with my daughter secret clinical doesn’t even work on her. She can put this on the bed and she sweats really bad at night and you cannot smell her the next morning. She gets up to take a shower and put it on for the day. Absolutely amazing product.

    The product is very a thick creamy texture so it takes a long time to dry . Had my arm up in the air and even fanned it for about 5 minutes and it still didn't dry . Stained my clothes and left residue on my shirt which made it feel a little nasty . Only thing I did like was the smell . Have to scrub with very good soap to get the product off . Too expensive to rebuy and def not worth it .

    Ok I’m going to say I’ve tried a lot! Natural and not. I’ve always gone back to secret and had to reapply but this stuff is amazing! I use the littlest amount and let it dry and honestly if I was stuck on an island I’d be good for days hahaha! If it irritates try detoxing and if there is a white cast try less

    One of the main ingredients is alcohol. Dries your skin like crazy. I’ve used prescription strength deodorants in the past and currently use Dove. Carpe gave me the worst rash and irritation that lasted days. It smells bad in my opinion as well.

    My skin did not like this. It left a dry patch on my arm by my armpits. It says to rub vigorously, but it’s like the moisture never goes away, and I’m not using a lot. It does leave a residue on my shirts, and it gets flaky like.

    I am a very sweaty person and was pretty sure the advertisements for this were nonsense but it really is a great product. I was hesitant to buy from the company but trust target and their return policy. It is very effective, even during workouts and anxious situations. It is long lasting, I have missed it a few times and still felt dry. The scented ones were too overpowering as the scent lasted for hours. Which could be good, but it didn’t work for me. I’ll stick to the unscented.

    Technical difficulties

    Help! After getting my order, I had great results with the first stick. The second stick quit advancing deodorant after about a week. I threw that stick away thinking it was a fluke. Now my third stick quit advancing deodorant after only a few days. The knob still turns on the bottom but nothing pushes out the top. Is there any suggestion for me to troubleshoot this issue?

    I love this product but it also has it’s cons. the pros: I love using the powder scent and fragrance free as I have a very sensitive skin!! It definitely is a game changer! It is the only deodorant that actually kept me dry and odor free for more than 24hrs. Follow the instructions if you want it to last longer! I just prefer washing my armpits every day to avoid clogging my pores as it is an anti-perspirant. The cons: I have a very sensitive skin and since this keeps my arm pits dry all day, it also dries out my skin. I’m scratching my armpits most of the time! Even when i put lotion to help with drying if you plan to wear a black clothing or any dark colored clothing it will stain. A trick that i’ve been doing is putting on a good amount of product then let it dry with a blow dryer in cool mode, repeat the process on the other side. Make sure everything is dry before putting on clothes. Effectiveness: 5 stars Long lasting: 5 stars Skin sensitivity: 3 stars Scent: N/A (just bc i can’t use strong fragrances) Price: 3.5 stars (I feel like its a bit overpriced)
