[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely not your typical boxed cake mix. You need eggs, cream cheese, oil, water, and butter. Plus a hand mixer. And a sauce pan. It’s just a bit much for my taste when the result was just a mildly elevated box cake. The frosting was the best part and that was just sugar, butter, and cream cheese. Overall, a pass for me.

I’ve always been intimated to make it myself because of all the ingredients and steps involved. This box includes it all- even the freeze dried carrots! The instructions were easy to follow and my kids had fun making this with me- it was like a science experiment to then with all the steps. My only complaint is that I wish there was more of everything, to make a two tiered round cake. I did need to add more cream cheese, butter and powdered sugar to make more frosting too. The taste was worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love carrot cake with cream cheese frosting so I was excited to make and try this all in one carrot cake mix. I thought it was cool that even the frosting mix came with it. But it was way more time consuming than it was worth. You need eggs, oil, butter and cream cheese on hand to make all components which are the cake, caramel sauce, and frosting. The finished product was nothing I'd go out of my way to buy again. The cake tasted like your average boxed spice cake. It was not especially carroty. It did have a strong walnut flavor though. The caramel sauce did not add anything to it. I didn't think it made the cake any more gooey or moist than a mix that doesn't have it. The frosting didn't have much flavor and needs to be a little sweeter. It wasn't horrible. It was edible. But it definitely was nothing to talk about. I wouldn't buy this again.

I made sure it was within the expiration as I had it shipped instead of getting it in the store. Unfortunately I didn't have all the ingredients on hand to make it right away. It is very daunting to make. There is both a glaze and a sauce. I can't wait. Carrot cake is one of our favorites

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the Cravings sweet and sticky carrot cake mix, this was delicious and easy to make. This took about 20 minutes to make the cake mix and then you make the frosting and the caramel sauce while it baked so it took about about an hour to make a fancy layed cake with frosting and caramel sauce. You did have to provide eggs, oil, cream cheese and butter. This was really good it is moist and not too sweet. The flavor is carrot cake spicy, it has carrots, walnuts and the cream cheese frosting was delicious, a superb sweet treat that was fun to make.

The cake come out the perfect level of sweet, moist, and delicious. My family had this for a treat after dinner but I’d easily serve this for my friends or family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a deluxe carrot cake kit containing the cake mix, as well as caramel sauce between the layers and the frosting for the top. You’ll want to make sure the cake fully cools or chills prior to cutting into two pieces and adding the caramel sauce or else it will melt. The frosting required almost a full package of cream cheese in addition to the powder. Overall it was tasty but a little overpriced in my opinion.

I will say that it is not one you can just whip up on a whim - there are some extra steps but they really are worth it. I love the thought that was put into drenching the cake with the warm caramel sauce- this takes it over the top and creates a moist texture that really satisfies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This carrot cake is nutty and carrot forward which is absolutely so tasty. The cake is soft and moist with the extra Carmel flavoring coming through to enhance the flavors and then you get that little bit of a stiffer bite into the carrot and/or nuts. I used the microwave method on the carrots and it worked perfectly. My cake was delicious with a yummy frosting!

I the directions were easy to follow and it turned out well. The frosting was good and a little runny but it thickened up as it sat. This would be an impressive dessert to take to an event and it truly tastes homemade.

I loved the taste of the cake along with the frosting. It does have a caramel sauce that you can add to it which my kids chose not to add to it. It just add a lot of extra butter. Overall, it is definitely an a great dessert option.

I was surprised by how good the Cravings carrot cake box mix turned out. Really moist, great flavor, and it didn’t taste overly artificial like some box mixes do. The spice balance was perfect and it paired so well with cream cheese frosting. Definitely one of the better boxed cakes I’ve tried.

Best carrot cake ever, loved the sticky sauce and that the kit included the walnuts, carrots, and frosting packet.

Yes it was my first time making cake cause I would rather just buy an already made cake. I figured this would be a fun activity for my child. It was cool proof for a beginner. The steps are very clear and the bags are all labeled. The cake was good but the next day it was delicious. Will definitely try more of her flavors.
