A: Hi Jack! The 15 Qt. Storage Bin is made of Polypropylene plastic, and was designed for general household use. Sterilite only uses high quality FDA food safe grade plastics that are non-toxic. These plastics do not contain PVC's, Latex, Teflon, Phthalates chemicals, fungicides, Bishphenol A (BPA), or antibacterial chemicals. Nor do we use them in the manufacturing process of our items.

Bad smell
These bins are easily stackable and sturdy but the chemical/gas smell coming off them is awful when they've been closed up for a few hours. Washing them out didn't help. I'm storing tools and papers in them, I would never put any kind of fabric in them.

The perfect container to store my kids toys
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the 15 quart clear storage bin with latches from Brightroom to help me organize my kids toys. This bin fits perfectly underneath my toddler’s bed, or in her closet to store her toys. I love that the lid has latches on it so it does not open up when she is grabbing it. I also like that it is clear so we can see what is inside of it easily. This bin is very sturdy and the perfect size. I received an incentive to write this review.

Quality storage bin with latches
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this bin as I was looking to store some additional dishes. Unfortunately, I’m going to order a larger size for my dishes as this size fit three bowls high and two side-by-side. However, I am going to use this particular one for storing my winter hats and gloves until the next season. This storage container is quality made, and the latch handles work well. The team member who brought out my items was so kind! The only suggestion I have for improvement is that I wish I would have received some kind of communication about the shortage of my item instead of a message saying my order was ready for pick up. I had kids in the car without shoes, so I couldn’t come in to try to find a similar item, haha!

Awesome storage for candles
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a awesome latching bin. I use it to store the large 3 wick candles and it fits perfectly for 6 of the candles. I love that the latch is easy to use and seamless. I don’t like the other lids because they’re much tougher to open and close but not this one. I appreciate its size, affordability and how clear the box is so I can see inside. The quality of the plastic is also durable. I received an incentive to write this review.
