After 20 years with the same set of dishes, I decided to purchase these based on sight alone. They are fantastic. I love the weight of them and the matte color is perfect. My husband appreciates the rim on the plates and the two sizes of bowls. This was my first experience with Elama, but won't be my last.

I love the looks and feel of these. I can't speak to how well they will take everyday use over time or if they are fragile, but they come with a no questions asked warranty for the first year, so I'll find out soon enough. They look great in my kitchen and compliment my light gray cabinets. They were on sale and a great choice for the price.

The lip on the plates and the shape of the bowls doesn't fit as well in our dishwasher as our last set. This set has a nice weight to it but I've had two bowls chip within a week because they accidentally banged into another dish so it's not as study as I would've liked.
