A: The legs don't truly lock into place; rather, the legs are resistant to folding in. For example, when I pick up the tray, the legs won't begin to fold in inadvertently.

I love this tray. The quality is great. I'm not sure about the bad reviews I've read. Maybe it's just hit or miss. My tray is perfect. It is the perfect size, sturdy, great quality. Would absolutely recommend. I'd even buy it again if it broke. That's how pretty it is.

Very pretty. Nice handles. Perfect height but as others have stated, the legs do not lock in place so it can be a bit flimsy. Bottom of tray appears to be glued together. This particular one is made of five strips of wood. Unfortunately, two have warped a bit causing a split in the center of the tray where two pieces meet. I'm hoping to repair it with wood filter.

I like that this tray is hardwood, but the legs are attached to two flimsy little pieces of wood, which are glued and stapled to the tray. Mine arrived with one leg completely detached and another already loosening. I took a partial refund (props to the chat help) and decided to screw in the loosened parts. But the wood they've used is extremely hard and it took me quite a while to get anything to work. Right now, I have it temporarily fixed but I'm not expecting it to last. Too bad, because otherwise I like the tray and would order more. They really need to do something different with the legs.

We use this tray all of the time. This is our second one as the first broke from being pushed down too hard with the legs up. I had to immediately get a new one!
