A: It depends on what you are putting in it. Based on a volume of 126 cubic inches this container will hold about 50 lbs of lead. It will hold about 2.5 lbs of flour and about 3.7 lbs of sugar.

I got these containers specifically to protect my food from pantry beetles while we were trying to get rid of them, but pantry beetles still got in. 🙄 Ended up having to go back and purchase OXO instead. I literally saw them getting in through the top. I would not recommend them for keeping bugs out.

I use these all over my house: Storing food or coffee filters, organizing the bathroom or office, keeping dog treats fresh, storing laundry or dishwasher tabs. They are chic and functional—and stack! I’ve used these for a few years and they have held up beautifully despite many, many trips through the dishwasher.

Not just this size but all the sizes in the collection. My kitchen is neat and organized and there is no way for vermin to get to the food, it’s all sealed. One thing to note is that next to these they sell a box set of 4 or 5 similar looking canisters also made by Brightroom. Those are just as great but the lids are different, they’re more rounded. And different sized—they don’t quite stack perfectly. If that doesn’t bother you, your house will still look perfectly organized. One down side is that they are hand wash only. I accidentally washed on in the dishwasher and it discolored the plastic.

Excellent product! It not only looks fabulous, but it kept my crackers fresh for over a month. It would probably keep it gray longer but in finally finishing them. So amazed I had to jump on and write a review! Only thing I would say is you have to make sure the seal is dry to keep your food max fresh. I hand wash and I feel like I have to shake the lid to get any trapped water out after a few hours, just to be sure. 10/10 recommend.

We have several of these in 2 of the sizes and find them to be extremely affordable. They are great-looking and function well, as they open and close easily. Good for storing rices, smaller items in the kitchen, etc. We will probably buy more at some point. Easy to clean in the dishwasher. Also, lightweight.

Unsure of why these have such great reviews. Usually Target product reviews are spot on. I’ve put various foods in them, nuts to salad toppings, and none of it stays fresh. My pistachios go stale and soft before I even have time to use them for the intended recipe. Everything I’ve put in these containers actually keep better in the plastic zip bags I get at the bulk bin. Good thing I didn’t redo my entire pantry. I still want a refund though.
