Q: Is the material rigid? In other words, is it rigid enough that it won't create waves when you roll your chair? Needs to be sturdy.

This mat is tested up to 250lbs including the chair and the user. Under the correct application and normal use this mat will not sink, crack, curl, cup, discolor or smell.
