A: I see another response below this that says the colander is coated and that’s my best guess too. You can’t achieve this color with uncoated steel

Sturdy. Have had it a couple months now and no rusting with regular use and cycles through the dishwasher. Holds a ton. Great for washing lots of produce at once. I’d say this size would be best for large families or meal preppers. If I had the chance, I’d buy this for item again. Love that it has handles to hang and it’s lightweight as I have a smaller kitchen and keep it stored on a command hook.

This strainer is not designed to drain water completely. The bottom is flat with holes in the middle, but water pools on the one inch room around the edge. Everything stays wet until you turn the strainer upside down to get rid of the standing water on the bottom. Really poor design. I regret this purchase.

Has a very flat base which creates surface tension so water does not drain properly. You can turn it on its side slightly to drain, but it’s kinda a pain when making pasta

This colander is perfect. It’s not ok heavy but it’s still very sturdy and holds up really well. It definitely does its job and strains things well. It’s a great size so you can even strain a big pot of pasta all in one go. It washes easily and cleans up well. Definitely a great tool to have in any kitchen.

I love this colander! It is sleek and modern looking, easy to clean and holds a lot of food. I stick it right in the dishwasher and it still looks brand new. It has handles which is nice and holes at the bottom as well.

After our last colander broke, we were on the hunt for a replacement and this fit the bill perfectly! It is sturdy, the welds are solid, it fits an entire pound of pasta perfectly, and it looks great too. We really like the height of the lip on the bottom, allowing ample space for draining in the sink. Would totally recommend!

This is a great strainer, the product is sturdy and of good quality. Of course we love that it’s dish washer safe and easy to clean. It’s large enough to rinse a three pound container of grapes from a bulk shopping store, so the capacity is great.
