A: Hi - Great question. It is required that we perform drop testing for these plastic food storage containers from 3ft 3 times when empty onto a vinyl tiled concrete surface and the results are satisfactory. The only problem with this item is not fault of its own. Target does not keep them stocked in stores and very rarely online. If Target would order tons of these they would continue to be sold out but they wouldnt be so scarce. People like me are waiting for the opportunity to order 9+ more of these but may be able to get 3 a month at retail price.
