New formula is bad
I’ve been using this for over ten years and could tell something was weird with the packages I recently bought. The other reviews on this new formula are spot on. Flavor is weird and it’s watery and drips out of my mouth when I’m trying to brush. Please please please listen to your customers and change it back. I don’t want to have to find a new toothpaste after all these years :(

Horrible new formula!!
I never write reviews (good or bad) but was so moved by the horrible taste and texture of this new version of toothpaste that I had to voice my disdain. The original taste and texture was great, so disappointed that they changed it!!! The new aftertaste is super sweet and the new texture/consistency is so watery that all of the toothpaste drips out of your mouth while you’re trying to brush. I’ve used the old version for years and have even stocked up on the old formula to last me a while (shoutout to the reviewer who took a photo of the ingredients in the old vs new formula so I could find it in stores) LOL. However I regret to say I’ll then have to look for another brand after my stockpile runs out.

Toms non-floride has flavor change in
long time Tims non-floride user here. warning, they have changed the flavor. it is a very overpowering xylitol type flavor which has a burning effect. about a year ago I tried Targets brand that was similar and couldn't use it because of same flavor. beware, not the Toms we love. ugh!!

New formula change is horrible!!! Awful aftertaste and it taste more like sugar than actual toothpaste. I hate when companies change a product that was already great. This will unfortunately be my last toms toothpaste for purchase until they bring back the original formula.

Bad taste, even worse side effects
I'm not going to say much about the taste of the new formula. It's not a great taste. But my gums are very sensitive and for 4 years Tom's has been the only toothpaste that I can use without having an issue. Their new formula doesn't list the ingredients as much different but now I'm experiencing bleeding gums and the only thing thats changed is the toothpaste. These are side effects that previously only cheap brands like colgate would cause. If you're going to use a cheaper formula, make the product cheaper.

New peppermint taste
I have 4 tubes of the new peppermint flavor. Both my husband and I do not like the new peppermint flavor. It leaves a nasty after taste in the mouth. I will no longer buy the peppermint toothpaste.

Bad new formula
I have been using this toothpaste since I was a kid. My parents always bought it growing up, I have used it exclusively for over 15 years. I bought a new box recently and was grossed out by the taste. It was not the Tom's I grew up with and leaves a gross chemically sweet taste in your mouth. It is a bit garlicky almost but very sweet. I compared the ingredients to the last tube I had and the ingredients have changed! This new formula is disgusting and you are loosing a lifetime customer. I hope that it will be switched back to the original formula and taste.

"New and Improved" - NOT!
I have been using Tom's flouride-free for many years. I bought a 4 pack thinking it was a good deal. First try and thought "what's wrong with this toothpaste." I immediately checked ingredients for artificial sweetener or stevia and realized it was a new formula! WHY? I hate new and improved things that are just not good. So disappointed. I will try to find old version to stock up before trying to find another brand.

The new flavor is terrible and too sweet and gritty. Please go back to the previous peppermint flavor. I feel I will need to find a new toothpaste to replace this since the flavor is so unpleasant.

The 'new improved taste' is TERRIBLE!
I have been using this particular toothpaste for a long time, and have loved it! Recently I purchased a new tube, and when I tried it, I noticed a different taste that was very different, and not good at all, then I noticed on the tube where it says, "new improved taste'. Well, the taste was great before and now it's awful... Leaves an after taste like fake sugar. I'll be returning this tube that I bought because it's so bad. Please go back to original formula, or else now I have to find another toothpaste.

We have been buying this two-pack for years, so of course I did not check the label to see whether you had made any changes. Last night my wife and I brushed our teeth, and we both said, "Is there something wrong with the toothpaste? It's awful." Only then did she read the label and discover that the toothpaste we liked had now been ruined with a "new great taste." In fact, we hate it so much that I am actually taking time out of my busy Saturday morning to report that it is not "great"--and the lingering after-taste is even less "great." So disappointed, and now we are stuck with two tubes.

No longer a usable product
I have been using this toothpaste since I was a teenager. The new formula is awful and I'm unable to use it now. I do not know what I'm going to do for toothpaste now.

Change formula back!
I have been buying this tooth paste for almost ten years now. Please change back to the original formula. This new formula is too sweet. It reminds me of Colgate.

I have been using Tom’s for years. I liked it compared to regular toothpaste because it wasn’t sweet. Now they changed the formula and added a sweetener. I liked the old formula. Now that they changed it, I may as well buy regular toothpaste that is cheaper. If it ain’t broken, don’t change it. Duh
