Q: Can I take the plastic off and it will keep the bread fresh abs soft?

A: Thank you for your interest in Lipper International Acacia Roll top Bread Box (Item#1146). Although the breadbox would be a beautiful complement to any countertop or pantry, it is not designed to be airtight. Therefore anything stored inside would be exposed to air. We recommend keep your baked goods sealed while storing inside the breadbox.

This item looked so nice , but it literally fell part when I took it out of the box and set it on the counter. Every seam was loose, and the roll top came completely out of the grooves. Sending it back immediately and will try another vendor.

The box arrived and the roll up door was out of the track with nails exposed so i returned it Poor quality construction Replaced it with an OGGI bread box .Return of the room top box was simple and taken care of imedately at the target store in Gereenbay

It's exactly how it's pictured. It's a great breadbox. My only complaint is that the door on it doesn't extend all the way into both sides, so moving the door is hard.
