Relieves cold
This product really helped relieve my cold and flu symptoms fast. Within an hour I felt my congestion and headache ease up, and it didn’t make me drowsy like other medicines do. The liquid gels are easy to swallow and act quickly, which is perfect for busy days. Definitely something I’ll keep in my medicine cabinet during cold season!

Worth a try
I tried this when I had a very bad cold over the winter. It worked good and fast. The soft gels makes it work faster and you don’t get that cough syrup taste. It’s fairly priced for the size of the package.

This works so good for your cold and flu symptoms. Also helps with body aches extremely well. We use Akla Seltzer quite often and always will. Works the best in my opinion.

Works Great!
This is one of the few cold and flu medicines that actually make me feel better. The liquid gels are easy to swallow since they are smooth. The relief lasts for several hours. A great value for the price.

Hard to swallow, but work well
I really like how these work but the shape of the pill is awkward to swallow. I have never had issues talking other meds, but I dread these pills because they're too round and the feeling lingers in my throat. I don't understand how these are easier to swallow then regular gel caps. I won't buy this kind again.

Stuck Alka Seltzer Maxi Gel pill in throat
Got stuck in throat. Coughing and drinking water didn’t work. I then had to try to myself throw up several times before it came out. Won’t be taking this again!

Great product, terrible packaging
No doubt Alka Seltzer cold and flu daytime is better than DayQuil — works quickly and takes care of my runny nose, cough, headache. But my god, the packaging is impossible to open. And I’m a fit 41-year-old. I can’t imagine if I were disabled or an elderly person. You basically need scissors to cut open the pods, and this is where DayQuil has the clear advantage with its packaging …

Went to Disneyland
I am 65 went to Disneyland walked 11 miles I was tired with a headache. My daughter gave me the seltzer I felt better went home so glad to get to bed. I could not sleep. A few days later I had another headache and again my daughter gave me the seltzer. I could not sleep the whole night. So since I could not sleep I looked up ingredients CAFFEINE. UGH

I bought Alka Seltzer Plus Maximum Strength Day Cold Flu Powermax Liquid Gels at my local dollar store out of convenience. Surprisingly, it cleared me up fairly quick and didn't make me drowsy.
