Sure glad I have upgraded my old slow cooker with this new appliance! Cooks and cleans up great.

Best Combination I’ve found. Loving it so far. Been using several times a week over the last month.

I really love this slow cooker and while it is my favorite slow cooker, I gave it 4 stars. The outside of the Dutch oven insert is enamel coated but the inside is not. It has to be seasoned like regular cast-iron. Season like any cast iron … a thin (THIN!!) layer of oil or shortening on all cast iron surfaces then put it in the oven UPSIDE-DOWN (put foil on a lower rack to catch drips) at 350° for 1-2 hours and allow to cool slowly (I turn off the oven and let it slowly cool). This process has to be re-performed from time to time. Typically at least once per year but anytime you cook something acidic (tomato-based sauces, etc.) the acids will eat away at the seasoning and you should re-season it. Had it been enameled on the inside … this would not be necessary and it would make for a much more versatile appliance. I would easily have given it 5 stars for this. (So a little regular maintenance but still a great product.) With that aside … I LOVE LOVE LOVE that I can start all my ingredients on the stove (and yes it works great on induction cook-tops) then move them to the slow-cooker base for the rest of the cook. One pot … very little clean-up needed.

Fast to heat up! Heavy duty! Easy to clean. You can keep it warm.

This is the best crock pot I have ever worked with. The cast iron pot is perfect. No worries about chipping or cracking a porcelain bowl. The controls are intuitive and work perfectly.

I never expected this to be so wonderful. I’ve used every setting and each is perfect. It’s now my new go to piece of equipment.

The specifications for care don't really protect the cast iron insert. Over time the rim/enamel peels away and looks rusty.

As I expected with All-clad quality. Only have used it once but was very satisfied with results.

It is horrible. Returned immediately upon receipt. The cast iron pot is too heavy even empty. Can’t go in the dishwasher. Not easy to clean. The pot doesn’t sit all the way into the outer heater. You can burn your fingers. I love All-Claf and have a lot of it. But not this item.

Extremely heavy cast-iron pot and lid. So far I have had no problems with this slow cooker from All-Clad. Since I have only used it two times since I purchased it, it performs as I would have expected it. However, my beef ribs are much better on my Traeger. I will not try to perfect beef ribs in the All-Clad. I have learned overtime that it takes patience to learn proper techniques for the different styles of cooking. Overall, I am satisfied.

I’ve had this for about 4yrs now, and love it. It took some playing around with to get the right cooking temperature, but once I did it works great for all slow cooked meats. I’m home during the day so I don’t have to leave it unattended for hours, and wouldn’t, like a traditional crockpot, but that’s not a issue for me.

Great Dutch oven that you can use for a lot of different meals.

i bought this over a year ago and like the versatility and ease of using it. it is so so heavy but that is expected with cast iron. I use it alot. Be careful to make sure you don't scoot the metal base as the little rubber feet will break off.

Love it bought 2, the plug needs to be addressed, it doesn't secure and connect firm but it works

I purchased this slow cooker last Christmas and used it for the first time this Fall. I’m beyond thrilled with this slow cooker- it covers all the bases and the flavor that it adds is on a professional level. This pot is next level with the cast iron pot- it spectacular!

Great idea to have a cast iron insert. I have two other different sized all clad slow cookers with the aluminum insert and the coating started to flake shortly after using them. I thought this was a genius idea because cast iron last forever. However, the finish started coming off the rim of the lid after first use. It appeared to look rusted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't have much experience using a dutch oven prior to this product, but now i can say i will never go back. It is perfect for slow cooking some stewed meats that i then used for some pies. I have used a number of normal slow cookers now and this was by far the best I have used. I break this out every week now for a meal that can last a couple day. It is also easy to use and very convenient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is exactly what I was looking for to replace the need to own a crock-pot for those 5+ hour cooking times I don't want to keep my oven on for and for use to keep contents warm during server. There are a couple odd design choices with the dutch oven however. It is not enameled in the interior so you have to season it and be more mindful when cleaning. The dutch oven also has concentric "grill bumps" which I am not sure what benefit that provides other than making cleaning more annoying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this thing. I own a crockpot and an Instant Pot. I always wanted a Dutch Oven but never got around to buying one. Then this came into my life. I love the versatility of it! I can use the electric stand and use it as a crockpot or I can take the Dutch Oven out and use it on the stovetop/in the oven. This has replaced my crockpot and all of my large soup pots with how easy it is to use and clean. I highly recommend this to ANYONE!
