Description
The RRAV498 is a direct replacement for the original Yamaha RAV498 and works immediately with compatible Yamaha AV receivers without requiring programming. It provides essential control functions including input selection, volume adjustment, and full menu navigation for seamless operation. Though pre-programmed for Yamaha AV receivers, the RRAV498 can be configured to control other devices such as TVs, DVD players, and satellite receivers using the included manual. This model controls ZONE 1 functions only and is not compatible with multi-zone receiver Zone 2 operations. It was originally supplied with Yamaha RXA1000 receivers. The RRAV498 serves as a compatible substitute for users seeking to replace discontinued remote models, provided all required functions are verified before purchase.
