This floral purple color does have some strong magenta undertones and will generally fade into a pink shade. As a highly pigmented color, Violet Dream will give a deep warm tint to darker shades of hair, and will cover up brassy tones without any issues. It will turn out best on hair that is around a level 7 or lighter!

Easy to use. Spent an hour to 2 hours highlighting my daughter’s hair with it. Let it sit for about 45, box says minimum of 30 minutes. Rinsed as the directions said and it was great. Color was beautiful and she was super happy. After her first real shower 2 days after we dyed it, color is Completely gone. Waste of time. Not a bit of pink left. I mean 0, not even a tint of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this color for years. Perfect shade of purple between warm and cool. It's pefect for my olive skin tone. It also fades into very wearable shades. I suggest mixing it in with a bit of purple af if you want it to start out a bit darker and last a little longer in general, and in it's midrange shade.

I used the light pink to (attempt to) do a peak-a-boo bit of pink, followed the directions on the bottle to the letter and even kept it in my hair a bit longer(45 min instead of 30) just in case. When I rinsed it out no color came out but when my hair dried it looked like I hadn’t even touched my hair with dye today. I have fairly light blond hair naturally so I didn’t bleach before and didn’t go in with high expectations but I expecting to see literally any change.
