Q: Did you ever smell the stinky plastic smell when you first used this?

An essential oil is put on the heating element during the manufacturing process that will burn off after the first few uses. It is non toxic and not harmful. Q: Was a manual supposed to be included? There's no instructions for steaming meats and vegetables.

Q: Hi. Is the materials used to make the cooking pot safe when cooking for a dog?

Q: The answer to the question about the steamer basket being made out of aluminum was not answered correctly. Aroma needs to find the correct answer if they are claiming that its their product.

Q: Are the cooking parts BPA free?
