Q: Why does it only work on some spots? I put it on my hand/wrist and it numbed my hand/wrist but when I put it on my forearm, it didn’t numb anything.

Mild relief but effective
I strained my back recently and decided to try this. I have to say, the relief was mild but still effective. I was able to walk upright (iykyk) and without catching my breath with each step. It's not a miracle solution, but it works well enough to allow me to get through the day.

Absolutely too difficult to open - DO NOT PURCHASE
The cap is ridiculously difficult to remove. It required two strong adults to simultaneously squeeze in the tabs and turn the cap. How is a person in pain or with a compromised arm/hand expected to remove the cap?

No mess
Goes on smooth and the scent is strong but effective. It doesn't last long but I like the roll on because it easy to apply and mess free. It is a good product for temporary relief of arthritis

Love this product. I use almost daily. I do get the lavender scented one but it’s the same results. It takes my knee pain away. I tend to use it daily as directed. It’s convenient and not messy which I love.

This is a good solution for a sore muscle.
I've only used this on my husband and he thinks it works ok. I do love that it's unscented and really easy to apply... Just rub it on and message it in. But it doesn't seem to last a long time as advertised. I think it's good for really light pain.

I'm not sure how much of this works, but it could just be my knees. However, for the reviewers who say it's impossible to get the cap off, THEY'RE RIGHT! Even my twenty year old daughter had to, like, really twist hard to get the cap off for me. Now I just leave the cap off.

I keep this lidocaine roll-on in my bag anytime I’m wearing heels or shoes I know I’ll regret later. It doesn’t completely take the pain away—which is why I gave it 4 stars—but it does take the edge off enough to make a real difference. The roll-on bottle is super convenient (no messy hands), and I like that it dries quickly without feeling sticky or greasy. What surprised me is that it actually smells good—not medicinal or overpowering, just clean. I usually roll it on the balls of my feet and heels once things start feeling sore, and within a few minutes, the burn dulls down. It won’t save you from hours of brutal shoes, but it buys you more time before the real suffering kicks in. Not a miracle cure, but absolutely worth having on hand.

Life-changing
Been struggling with cervical radiculopathy for the past month, which has been causing excruciating pain in my shoulder blade and bicep area. I bought this and had my husband apply it for me on my neck, back, and bicep. It was easy to apply and mess-free. While it of course didn’t cure the pain, it significantly reduced the severity of the discomfort I was feeling. Before application, my pain level was at a 6 or 7 out of 10. An hour and a half after application, my pain is at a 2 out of 10. Seriously. Buy this stuff. I could cry tears of joy right now from how much this product has helped me when nothing else could.

Didn't relieve muscle pain
I decided to try this because it was priced affordable, and commercials made it seem great. The scent is strong which would be fine if it worked... for me it didn't. Lidocaine only seems to relieve or numb the top layers of skin that absorb the formula, but I didn't get any muscle relief. Doesn't work for me.

Effectiveness
The scent is not too overwhelming. Packaging is nice. The texture is awesome. It’s a decent value for the money. It’s definitely effective, but you can use too much and start to feel a little nauseous so a little goes a long way.

Cannot open the roll on.
I bought two of the roll ons and cannot open either one. I bought it for my sister to use on her very painful hands. Really unhappy with this. Three people tried to open them.
