Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Moisturizer Mineral Sunscreen - SPF 30 - 1.7oz

This product leaves my skin sticky, unlike other mineral sunscreens I have used. I cannot apply makeup or anything on top of it. And like other mineral sunscreens, you must rub it in very well or it leaves visible white film on your face.

although it is SPF and my skin didn't react, being a mineral based sunscreen, it leaves residue and white splotches on my face, eventhough I rub it in 10x more than I need to.

Feels like you have a Halloween mask on, again terrible! Go back to the previous one, Aveeno ultra-calming daily moisturizer, now that one actually felt like you were moisturizing your face, plus it had sunscreen. You really need to re-visit your Calm & Restore products!!!!

I bought this sunscreen because I bought the Aveeno sensitivity cream. It's great, but what I don't like is that when I apply it, it leaves my face a little white, and I don't like that. The cream has color, but it leaves it somewhat white.

My dermatologist told me to wear sunscreen every day. I researched extensively for a mineral sunscreen that was lightly tinted, easy to apply, did not leave a white cast and was not oily/greasy. I tried several mineral sunscreens that were on the market, but none were suitable. They were either too greasy or the color too dark. I have been using this sunscreen for over a year. It's perfect. This sunscreen checks all the boxes. I wear it every day. The color blends well with my skin tone, it moisturizes, and it is evident that it keeps the sun off my skin.

I used to use Aveeno Positively Radiant, but wanted to try this because I wanted something less fragrant/gentler and I love the Calm & Restore night cream. It does the job, provides sunscreen and moisturizes (but not great). I was not expecting the product to be tinted. My skin is darker than the tint and it left my face a lighter shade, not in a good way. I also don't normally wear makeup on my face. This product also has a scent (it is more natural scent) but still scented. If you are going for something similar to the night cream, don't get it.

Really disappointed in this product. It is advertised as a moisturizer but does not function as one at all. It is simply a mineral sunscreen. I have used Aveeno face moisturizers for over a decade. I loved the ultra calming moisturizer and it was always my go to. When that was discontinued, I switched to positively radiant and it was fine. When I went to my local Target to purchase the positively radiant daily face moisturizer with spf 30, they were out of stock so I decided to try this instead. The first time I applied it to clean, dry skin that had nothing else on it. It would not blend in at all and it made my skin flaky. The second time, I applied a serum before trying this moisturizer and it blended better but it provides absolutely no moisturization. It works exactly like a mineral sunscreen, meaning it sits on top of your skin in a thin, slightly tacky layer. If that is what you are looking for, this product is fine that's why I gave it 2 stars instead of just 1. But it should be advertised as such. I was looking for actual moisturization. Silly me for trusting that a product that said "Daily Moisturizer" on it would actually be a moisturizer. Personally, I'm also not a fan of the feel of mineral sunscreens so I'm not sure I'll be able to use this product at all. Very disappointed.

I've only used this twice but am not a fan. I feel it leaves a chalky texture on my face. I have normal to dry skin and just felt it dried my face out more.

Horrible tacky feeling left on face. Not moisturizing in the least as the original formula this replaced. No information on the product that it is tinted of which I don’t need. I will not buy again and won’t even finish the product I have now. Please bring back the calm and restore moisturizer that you had before you replaced it with this inferior product. Don’t fix it if it’s isn’t broken!

Advertised as a moisturizer with sunscreen-feels completely like sunscreen with a thin layer sitting on my skin after I rubbed it all in. Don’t recommend!

Aveeno calm + restore daily moisturizer mineral sunscreen is calm and gentle and works good on my face and skin. I like how it’s gentle but keeps me protected from the sun.

This thing SUCKS- it feels like sunscreen when you put it on. Flat, thin and NOT moisturizing. Since using this my skin has gotten dry and flakey throughout the day cause this does not help.

I like this moisturizer and for me i use it daily but not on the days that i wear makeup. Very gentle on the skin.

Bring back the Ultra Calming Daily Moisturizer. This does not hydrate the skin like the old version.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to learn Aveeno introduced a calm and restore mousturizer, that also included a bit of tinting. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product. It was very thick which made it difficult to apply and if I applied any other serums or lotions before or after, the product immediately start pilling. I tried several times and had to come to the conclusion that it was unusable.

It has a nice sheer sheen to it and feels very lightweight. The spf is very appreciated as I’m using it for daily use and sun here is killer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very sensitive skin that’s unfortunately also dry. I love this moisturizer because it’s so gentle and soothing—it’s moisturizing and soothing but not greasy and heavy. Sits well under makeup too!
