A: Hi Gina, Thank your for your interest in the Ball 4pk 16oz. Pint 140th Anniversary Regular Mouth Jars. The lids are made of five different materials; we start with a core base of steel sheeting, applying an ultra-fine tinplate coating to the top and the underside. A BPA-Free base coating is then applied to the underside and a BPA-Free top coating is applied to both the top and underside of the lid. The sheets of tin-plated steel are then stamped out to create regular and wide mouth lids. Lastly the plastisol is poured into the channel on the underside of each lid, the plastisol is not rubber based.

A: Hello! The 140th Anniversary jars are not freezer safe. These jars are shouldered. The straight walled jars are freezer safe. This means straight from top to bottom. Our wide mouth pint jar is freezer safe!
