Truly Gentle and Unscented
I initially picked up the Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing bar in store and OMG the scent was crazy. So strong! I remembered this Basis bar that my derm had me use 15 years ago and I'm so delighted to report she's still that girl. Incredibly gentle and unscented. Cleans really effectively too; I don't need 2 steps to get my makeup and sunscreen off. The price is incredible! I hope they never, ever stop making this.

CeraVe Alternative - Pretty Good!
I tried this soap after being a loyal user of the CeraVe hydrating cleanser bar for my dry, sensitive skin for 6+ years, decided to change over as that brand was getting simultaneously more expensive and harder to find. The only complaints I have are that this soap is more drying than the CeraVe, and also does not smell very good (kind of like burnt plastic), but the smell doesn’t stick to your body at all and the lack of hydration is nothing that a good unscented lotion can’t handle, so overall I would say this is a very good budget soap for sensitive and dry skin.

Compared to Dove
Compared to Dove this soap is milder and does not dry out the skin. The bar does not melt as easily as Dove so it lasts longer. There is zero fragrance so good for people with perfume sensitivity. On the other hand, Dove lathers better and feels better in the hand when using.
