A: Page 9 of the manual says: "The bread slot is to be used for toasting regular bread slices only. Do not use the toaster to toast irregular shaped bread or round bread." I will anyway, probably. :-)

Q: What is the warranty period? It broke after only 3.5 months. When you lower the bread to the heaters it pops right up again so the toaster won't toast.

It's been less than a year and now the toaster won't automatically stay down. You have to hold it for it to work. No instructions anywhere to be found on repairing it or even disassembling it to see if it can be repaired.

Burned half the bread 3 times in a row, so it got returned. Love the idea of slim appliances but I'm not willing to give up even toast for a skinny toaster. Returned and bought the normal one. It works just fine, and still matches the other Bella appliances that I already have in the Surf color.
