Waffle maker stopped working after a few uses. Very disappointed!

I purchased this item specifically because a Product Expert answered "Yes" that the plates are removable for cleaning; they are not. I also downgraded it because the handle gets extremely hot making flipping a waffle difficult. It's cute, but not necessary, that you can stand it on end for storeage, but the one I purchased would not stay in the "stand" position. Despite these issues, the waffles are decent.

decent, but i hope to return it. It just doesn't make that great of waffles, and the functionality isn't that well thought through. the Most annoying thing is that doesn't let you set a temperature. So even if you cook them for longer or put more oil in it and try a variety of different methods.. they are never really that crispy. :-/ It did help if you break the waffles in half and then put them in the toaster... but that's kind of annoying extra step to have to take. The other things that are just kind of poor design choices. There's a little thing to wind the cord around [ and the court is also a little bit short so that's also kind of a pain] and there's a little velcro tie but it doesn't really work very well at all the way it's designed. Also there's not really anything to hold on to When you want to flip it back and forth. It has little feet on it, but they are Sleek just like the rest of the material and you can't really get a good grip on it. The latch to close it and the waffle maker itself gets pretty hot so you don't really want to be touching that. I had to Wrap some large rubber bands around the legs/feet just to have something to grab onto. They could have made those parts flared or some sort of foot on the end to grab hold of but they decided not to. There's also a knob On the side which when you're done should lock The waffle maker in an upright position. Again it's also made out of the non-stick smooth slippery surface of the waffle maker so if your hands are wet for washing it or you have any kind of oil or anything whatever in your hands and they're not perfectly dry it's hard to get a grip on it. It's also just sort of a cylinder sticking out the side without any kind of a knob on the end So that doesn't make it easy to grab hold of either. So the design isn't that great, and I was kind of able to work around that but the fact that it doesn't really get that hot to make the waffles actually crispy is kind of a deal breaker, despite getting it on sale almost 50% off.

Just got it but so far, it was great! So easy to use! And I like how it flips up for storage. Hopefully it’ll last because it was a lot of fun making waffles at home

Broken handles

First use the waffles were perfect. I’m disappointed the outer ceramic has chipped away after one use following the directions. I liked this design for easy storage and happy with it. Just wish the quality was better. Hoping it will continue to last. You do have to pay attention to a white light so if doing other things could be annoying without a sound indicator telling you it’s done.

Love it. Just used it for first time this morning and the waffles turned out great.

This was exactly what I was looking for! It's so easy to operate and the waffles come out perfect everytime! Great spece saver for storing. I love that it stands upright to store when locked, just wish it was a bit more secure in that position. It seems a bit wobbly. The price was very inexpensive and reasonable for this product.

This is the BEST waffle maker! Batter does not stick and waffles come out so perfect that they almost look fake! Lol love it!!
