A: Great question! The BISSELL Little Green Spot & Stain Formula shouldn’t cause water spot stains when used as directed. It’s designed to clean effectively without leaving marks. We always recommend testing it on a small, hidden area of your upholstery first, just to be sure it’s a good match for your fabric.

Q: Can the Bissell soap be used on dark colors and not lighten or fade? I noticed it says Oxy on the label.

A: Good question! We always recommend testing a small hidden area prior to use, but it should only remove dirt and oils from your carpet and fabric, NOT color.

It exploded that stubborn stain and cleaned it right away! Along with the mini green machine by Bissell, it has made life easy again when getting rid of stains! I tested it on a very old, filthy fabric chair seat using the Little Green Machine Pro-Heat Portable without pre-treating. Wow! The results were amazing. No strong smell either. Smells like clean linen. TIP: Test soap and scrubbing on a hidden section of fabric upholstery. Be gentle when scrubbing fabric upholstery to not damage the fabric. Shout Out to Just a Dad Videos on YouTube for helping me decide to purchase Little Green Machine Pro-Heat Portable and this amazing soap.
