Q: Does this work on dirty outdoor grout

A:Â Hi Pam - this cleaner is designed for indoor use only and not on outdoor tile/surfaces.
submitted byAskBISSELL - 5 years agoBrand expertA:Â It comes with a grout brush but the brush doesn’t stay in good shape. I use one of the round brush attachments and my white grout is white. Best investment ever.
submitted byKarin A - 6 years agoA:Â It should. Pretreat the grout by passing the steam nozzle across to loosen/soften the dirt, then go over it with one of the brushes that come with the steamer. I've found that taking a pass or two over whatever surface I want to clean helps, kind of like soaking dishes before washing.

A:Â Good question, the steam direct from the steam tip is 212 degrees Fahrenheit.

The surface that is treated does not stay that hot but you certainly don't want to put your hand near it. I got too close by accident when cleaning the sink and it was like an oven.

A:Â Hi Patty. We only recommend using distilled water in your steam mop. We do have scent discs you can use in the mop pad for fragrance.

I have used Bissell products for years this is my third floor steamer. The first order I received the heating element was detached and floating around in the tank. I returned it and received a new one , today the heating element detached again. I've only had it for 6 months and it's useless. A very expensive mistake .

Got this as a gift & upgrade for my daughter who loves to steam clean her floors. After using both she much preferred the BISSELL PowerFresh Steam Mop for the cleaning efficacy and the lighter weight even though it's prone to breaking too easily and too quickly

I absolutely love this mop. I love my Cross wave but also used the steam mop after crosswaving my floors and it still brought up some dirt. We have 3 fur kids and this will definitely be my new best friend. I love all my Bissell products. 2 Crosswaves, Bissell Spot Bot, and now the steam mop. LOVE THEM ALL!

The internal design causes sweating which rusts ALL the metal inside. We've purchased four and they all break/stop working in less than a year. We only use distilled water. Customer service is non-existent.

It won't let me only give a 1 start rating. Not surprise. Worked great for 2 years. Then no more steam. Customer service was awful. It was 3 wks out of warranty and they wanted to send me to a repair center over 2 hrs away. Then they said I should replace the foot of the mop which has nothing to do with the hot water (the body is where the water is heated per customer service) so why would they say to replace the wrong part? And I had to pay for it. I'll never purchase a bissell product again.
