Q: Is there a button to push to open or is it a pull
A: There is no push to open button. It's a pull open without a handle. You pull to open it

Q: How does it open? Is it a push button or does it have a handle.
A: Push button pnly if child lock is enabled. if not, just full the door using the indent on the side of the door

Q: Can you mute the alert beeping
A: yes it has "mute mode". if you press and hold 8 it will display OFF which will turn off the beeping while pressing buttons as well as the alert beeping. you can press and hold 8 to turn it back on as well.

Q: Can someone tell me the cord length?
A: i didn't measure but I'm fairly certain it's only 3 feet. it attaches to the microwave by the top right corner in the back, i.e. behind the touchpad.
