It is equipped with exclusive vortex technology that improves the water flow for maximum flavor. The control buttons are large and the clock is in a bright green you can’t miss. On the side of the coffee maker there is a window where you can keep track of how many cups of water you are adding to the machine. I think my favorite thing about this machine is that it has a brew strength selector which means it slows down brewing for a stronger flavor, if that’s what you prefer. This new style B + D coffee maker features auto pause so you can sneak a cup in the middle of the brew as well as an auto shut off that will happen if the coffee pot hasn’t been touched for a while. That’s wonderful for safety! The brew basket is removable and dishwasher safe, which is a huge plus! Finally, the nonstick “keep hot” carafe plate helps keep your machine looking stylish on your kitchen counter. Don’t forget to send in your two year limited warranty on the Black & Decker website. This dispenses water over the coffee grounds evenly and it makes for a better quality tasting coffee! I don’t even drink coffee that often but when I do I have the proper machine to make a great cup! The parts come out easily so it’s breeze to clean. Which is a nice change for sure. My old pot sucked the soul and patience out of me when I was trying to clean it and take it apart. Needless to say, this is a great item! Recommend. 10/10
